first day of school.

JAMILA POV

I woke up quite early, at around 7:00. Jada had said I didn't really need to start school now because it was nearly Christmas break, but I promised ma I'd do something with my life, I'd make something of myself.

so after I woke up and took a shower (I'd never had an actual shower before, it was like millions of raindrops on my skin)

I had on my robe, and started to look in my suitcase for something to wear.

I heard a knock on the door and Willow came in.

''hey'', she walked over and looked in my suitcase.

''hi'',I said with a smile.

she smiled back,but it faded when she saw my clothes.

''jamila your way too pretty, to be wearing stuff like this'',she said holding up my beige short-sleeved shirt.

I laughed, ''I haven't really got any thing else''.

''hang on a minute'', she said hurried out of the room. she came back 5 minutes later holding masses of clothes.

'' won't you get into trouble for bringing you whole wardrobe'', I said shocked.

she laughed heartily ''jamila this isn't my entire wardrobe''.

after a lot of trying on different clothes she decided on this short tight black mini skirt, a plain white vest top and a leather jacket that she said was Aztec print.

'Willow, this is sweet of you but I can't wear this'', I said gesturing to the skirt.

''sure you can all you need is confidence, ooo and let down your hair down'', she said walking over and releasing my hair from its bun.

I looked at myself in the mirror again, hesitant.

''girl you look amazing, let's go'', she said dragging my arm.

JADEN'S POV

''OK Jaden, I want you to keep an eye on jamila, its her first day so-''my mom lectured me for the 10th time.

''yeah mom I got it make sure everything goes great'',I interrupted her.

just then I saw Willow and Jamila come down the stairs. she looked amazing, her hair was let out today, for the first time. It was so curly and her outfit was reveling quite a lot of her slender legs.

''oh hon, you look beautiful'', mom said.

''oh and willow make sure you take jamila to the mall to get new clothes OK''.

Willow smiled.''OK'' she squealed.

she went upstairs to get ready and my mom went to her office.

''hi, sorry about last night'', she said shyly.

''nah don't worry about it'', I said.

''do you want breakfast'', I said.

''yes please'', she nodded.

''Chrissie can you whip us up some breakfast'', I said to Chrissie who was in the kitchen.

I went to sit on a stool in the kitchen and instead of her sitting next to me as I'd thought she would she went over to Chrissie and asked if she needed any help.

''thank you jamila, but its OK, I'm alright'',she said smiling at her.

I guess no-ones ever asked Chrissie if she needed help before.

jamila sat down opposite me.

''so are you excited about school'', I said, expecting her to say no.

''yes, very'', she said with a smile. her smile was so enlightening, it made everyone around her want to smile.

after we finishes our pancakes we waited for willow.

''Willow hurry up'',I shouted at her.

jamila laughed quietly.

''you two are funny'', she said.

I sighed ''Willow's such a pain'', I said.

''I think she's...enthusiastic'', she said

we both started laughing then. I felt a tug in my ear.

''whoops, sorry my stud's caught in your hair'', I said taking it out.

by this point we were close enough to kiss, she looked up at me and I noticed that her eyes had tiny bits of gold in them.

I coughed then took a step back I cannot fall for this girl. I have kylie right?
