Chapter 3: Am I forgetting something?

Ok so this mask is suppose to cover half of her face without you knowing full well what she looks like entire. Also I'm getting stuck so I'm going to read other fanfiction to help me like start it but it's going to be different. Also there are somethings I forgot to write in the info of her. Btw she still had her mask and will have it on until I find a good time.

(Kaname's POV)~
It's been 1 year since the attack of Rido and the last since I saw her. I've searched none stop for Gabriela and still found no trace. I've looked through the woods and found nothing, even her scent disappeared.

When Rido came for Gabriela, he was stopped by father and I while mother took Yuki to the basement to seal her vampire self and then turn her into a human with her memories locked. But when mother did that, she died.

While that was happening, father and I were trying to fight off Rido but in the end he killed father. When he killed him he noticed Gabriela wasn't here anymore and said, "She isn't here, huh? Well I'll just keep looking for her. Goodbye for now Kaname~" And with that he was off.

With that Yuki escaped the mansion and I went to go look for her. I found her with a Level E and killed it. Then I took her to Kaien Cross, the legendary vampire hunter, to take care of her and adopt her while I went to look for Gabriela.

"Where ever you are, please be safe and happy birthday!~"

(The Sakamaki's 3rd POV)~
It's been 1 year now since little Brie came into the family and she is very loved. Even Cordelia started to soften up to Brie while Beatrix became less strict and Christa came out of her tower more often just to play and take care of Brie and her Subaru.

Besides all that mushy stuff, it's little Brie's birthday today and she turns 4 years old. The brothers also turned their ages before she did so their ages are, Shu:9 years, Reiji:8 years, Ayato:7 years, Kanato:7 years, Laito:7 years and Subaru:6 years.

Her father, mother's and brother's are planning a birthday party for her but its a surprise so they had to take her out of the house. They have everything sorted out but they still had to let Brie wake up. Last time they made the mistake of waking her up and let's just say they regret ever making that mistake.

(Brother's POV)~
We were done with the stuff we needed and the presents are all wrapped up but now the thing is to get Brie out of the house so our parents could set it up. We were walking down the hallway to Brie's room, hoping she was already awake but when we opened the door we found her tossing and turning.

She was whimpering which meant she was having a bad dream but it looked painful, like she was actually feeling physical pain. Then she wasn't breathing but was trying to. We screamed her name and shouted for our father to come and help her, "BRIE!! FATHER, COME QUICK!!!" We started to panick as father came to the room panting with our mother's.

They saw what was happening and paled. Father came over and placed a hand in her forehead while closing his eyes in focus. It was silent after that and within seconds Brie woke up with a start, panting and tears streaming down her face. She looked so frightened that we all hugged her to help her relax.

She relaxed after the warmth we gave her and stopped crying. 'What was that and what was she dreaming? She looked physically tortured?', we all thought. We looked at each other and looked back at her.

(Gabriela's POV)~

I was surrounded by darkness. Everything pitch black until a light suddenly devoured me. It was a flash back of that night when I escaped. I saw little me jumping out the window as she walked into the woods but I stayed in the room. I couldn't follow her for some reason until I heard the door open with a slam. I turned around to see Kaname and the rest of the Kuran family stumble in panting from their little run I guess. Kaname was the first to go into the room but seemed disappointed when little me wasn't there. He walked over to the note I left and read it. He let it fall while covering his face with his hand as the tears streamed down his face. Everybody raced towards him looking worried and saw the note. They read it too and all cried. "Huh I thought they'd be happy that I left.", I said confused. I continued to watch everything that happened while I was in the woods somewhere. Then I outside the mansion infront and saw Rido standing there shouting, "I'm here for your daughter!! Give her to me and you'll live or else I'll have to use force!!" He waited for a few seconds until Kaname came out with Haruka-san in their fighting stance. "We won't let you take Yuki from us!!", Haruka-san yelled. "So their after Yuki? I should have stayed longer then to protect her.", I said to myself. "Stupid Haruka! Haha~I'm not here for her, I could care less about her! I'm here for your other daughter! I'm pretty sure she'd rather stay with me than with her abusive family! Poor girl, she's only 3 years old and you guys treat her like you would to me! I honestly never felt so sorry for anyone in my life before but here I am!", Rido said. "Why would you of all people want our daughter for!?", Haruka-san yelled. "Since when was I considered your daughter!?", I yelled even though I know they can't hear me because this is the past. "I want her to be my bride! When she grows up, I want her to marry me istead of Kaname. I know it's impossible and impure but I fell in love with Gabriela through my glass globe that I always used to watch her curiously. I know what to expect under that cloak even though I haven't seen her face. I known she's so beautiful that anyone of her age would fall in love with her and seek her hand in marriage even though their all children.", Rido said. It made me want to vomit, thinking of marrying him. Then all hell broke loose. Haruka and Kaname-san were fighting Rido until Rido killed Haruka-san. When Haruka-san got killed, I felt his pain and death so much it hurt to litterally breath. "Ngh, what....is...this..." Kaname-san was the only one now standing against Rido. Then Rido realized something and said,"She isn't here, huh? Well I'll just keep looking for her. Goodbye for now Kaname~", and with that Rido and the pain went away and I thought the flash back was finished until I was infront of Yuki and Juri-san. "Ok Yuki, be strong and just know we love you!", Juri-san said smiling and crying sadly. Yuki was scared and screamed, "Mommy!" Blood started pooling around underneath Juri-san as she turned Yuki into a human. Pain much worse coursed through me making me yell in pain. "GAAAAAAH!!!" I screamed and almost died but luckly this was a dream. Then everything shattered like a broken mirror and I was surrounded by darkness again. Then I felt something warm on my forhead and knew who it was. "Daddy....help!", I was saying while crying. I started to awaken and the pain stopped.

I wake up with a start with tears streaming down my face. I've never felt so frightened before in my life and everyone helped me to relax by giving me a hug. But I didn't feel anything when I saw Juri and Haruka-san die. Maybe they were never meant to be my parents. I was brought out of my thoughts when they said softly, "Are you ok now? What happened?" I just nodded saying I was ok but didn't answer the second question.

They knew I wasn't going to answer anymore questions so they say beside or behind me and my brother's said, "Come on Brie, let's go somewhere today. We could go to the park or where ever you want, ok!" I nodded and smile a bit while drying my tears. "Let's go to the park!", I said trying to be cheerful.

They nodded at my response and Reiji said, "Ok then get dressed so we can leave to the park." My brother's and father left my room while my mother's stayed to help me change into an outfit. Once they closed the door my mother's took out a black and blue dress with a black flower on the left side of my waist.

After we were done I walked out of the room to see my brothers all dressed and ready to go. When they noticed me they blushed and tried to control it but it didn't do anything so they averted their gaze. "Shall we go now?", said Reiji awkwardly while trying to avoid my eyes as his blush grew. I nodded my head and said, "Yes!", and with that we were off.

'...Am I forgetting something?...'

Ok so I'm gonna make the chapters a lot more shorter so I can make more chapters and finish the story faster to work on the other 6 I started so I'll try to work on this one and I'll keep the second one on hold.
