Rudra's son, Chevalier Alva Akhayre, is the main character of the novel Ekleipsis. There are no other titles for the nobles of Creede besides a simple 'Chevalier', meaning Lord, and Lady-Chevalier, or Lady for women. All the nobles have personal double names, without a last name. The Creedans believe the name of the family is not important, an aristocrat should carve a name for himself, as Rudra Ruatta did.
Rudra Ruatta is one of my favorite characters of the whole #ekleipsis series: he is as cool as he is hot, also incredibly intelligent, powerful and passionate. He is fire sealed in ice. He appears again in the novel Gates to Glory, chapters 1.13 through 1.18, available here on my profile. The Book I taking place in Irshawan is completed.

Some useful pieces of info
The story takes place in a fantasy world Pandeya, which consists of several countries with various laws and customs. Pandeya has quite a long history (over 4,000 years).
'Royal Blood' is not, strictly speaking, a part of a series, but its characters appear in several other novels, and characters, places and nations from other novels are mentioned here (the legendary female warrior Ashurran, for example, or savage steppe nomads with their captives).
Creede is the biggest country in Pandeya, also the most progressive and civilized one. It slightly reminds of France or Spain during the Renaissance era or later. Its capital is Trianess; the form of government — constitutional monarchy. There are three classes: royalty, nobility and commoners, all of them are hereditary, but one could change his class under some circumstances.
Noblemen in Creede have no specific titles and are all called Chevalier (Lady-Chevalier or just Lady in case of a woman). It's taken from French, meaning the same as Spanish caballero and English Cavalier, to wit, 'horseman'.
Creedan noblemen have a double alliterated name and no surname. The name is unique, but it could be adopted in parts from history, literature and the like. A wife doesn't take her husband's name, or vice versa, and the names of the children are unique too, without indicating their parents in any way. So the son of Chevalier Ruatta is called Alva Ahayrre, and he is one of the main characters of the novel 'Ekleipsis', along with the elf Ithildin and the barbarian Kintaro.
At the age of fifty-four Chevalier Ruatta resigned from his position as the Commander-in-Chief of the Creedan army and set out to the distant mythical land which was called Irshawan and situated presumably in the East, behind the boiling abyss of the Storm Belt. The heart of King Dancennou went with him, and he never stopped loving Rudra and waiting for his return. He didn't know that in Irshawan Rudra became the greatest wizard of all times and was called Ruatta the Wizard.
Trysting houses are a unique Creedan feature. Brothels and prostitution are illegal in Creede, and the notion of paying for sex is appalling for any true-born Creedan. A trysting house is a cross between a nightclub, a restaurant and a hotel. Creedans bring their dates there, come for one-night-stands, or participate in banquets with friends and some entertainers of easy virtue. Rooms in a trysting house could be rented for an hour or for a whole night. Of course sometimes they could be disguised brothels or hunting grounds for prostitutes, but not those decent establishments in the capital which Chevalier Ruatta would visit.
