The Frat Boy || h.s. [ON HOLD]

Chapter One

Hi guys, this is my new Harry Styles FanFiction "The Frat Boy". I really hope you enjoy it. The first 2 or 3 chapters may seem a lot like the initiation scene from pitch perfect but that's just because I got some of my inspiration from that scene. I will still be continuing my other Harry Styles Fan Fic "Invisible" but I'm just starting this one now because I had a good book idea and I wanted to write it. Anyway please enjoy!

Chapter One

My arms are in excruciating pain from carrying the heavy load of boxes from my car into the Kappa Kappa Psi mansion. The floors are a freshly polished marble and the walls a clean white paint. The smell of cookies baking from the kitchen fill my nose and send a sensation through my body.

As I walk up the large and spacious grand foyer stair case, several girls are walking down as beside. My feet stumble up the last step but I mange to keep my balance. I saunter down the large hallway while my box of junk trembles in my hand.

There's a clipboard on top of my box and I read it to myself quickly. The sheet of paper reads 'Room 8.' I look at the numbers on the doors and follow them as they get higher. Once I reach my room I burst the door open with my foot. A tall dirty blonde girl turns around from inside. Her eyes were just as blue as mine and her eyebrows were thick yet perfect. She shines her bright smile at me and puts out her stick like fingers.

"Hi, I'm Avery, you must be Samantha!" She announces with energy.

"Nice to meet you Avery, but you can just call me Sam." I say kindly as I drop the box on the dresser next to the door.

"Well then Sam, its very nice to meet you." She says as she turns back around and continues to unpack her things.

I look around the room. It was spacious and dainty. She had already decorated her side for the room with white Christmas lights and pictures of Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes. My side is bare and naked. The bed is still unset and dull.

I kick all of the boxes that are sitting out side of the door into the room. Avery turns around and watches me as I struggle.

"Do you need some help with that?" She offers kindly.

"Oh yeah I guess. Could you help me bring those boxes farther into the room." I ask.

"Yeah sure no problem." She replies cheerfully. She picks up 2 boxes and stacks them on top of each other and drags them deeper into the room. I do the same.

I smile and thank her and she continues to set up her side.

I take out a picture of my parents and put them on the bedside table beside me. A smile appears on my face when I see their darling faces. I know that my life is going to be different without them here. I'm so used to having them around all the time, but I know that college is going to be a new beginning for me and I have to let go of everything in the past.

As I take out my bed sheets a buzzer sounds in the room.

*buzz buzz*

"Hello future Kappa Kappa Psi members, can everyone please meet up down stairs in the home theater for the basic rules and the initiation ceremony presented to you by our two Sorority Leaders, Cate and Julia." The voice speaks. Avery and I turn and look at one another with a puzzled look on our faces.

"What initiation?" She asks me with her eyebrows furrowed. I shrug my shoulders in response. She walks over to the door and pears it open slightly. She pokes her head out into the hallway. I can hear chatter of girls coming from outside.

"Looks like everyone is heading down stairs." She says. I walk closer to the door as she steps into the now heavily crowed hallway. I mange to wiggle my way into the crowd. Avery waits for me patiently to catch up.
