Leaving the walls

In a small town surrounded by a 20 foot wall there is a short pudgy man wearing a shirt made from a tattered flag with the ancient red white and blue stars and stripes. His white suggests his old age. He stands before a squad of 4 men. One with dark skin, the color of leather. He stood tall and wide and held in his hand a long rifle like gun and on his back was a very large air tank. It must've weighed at least 60lbs. The hoses connecting the tank to the makeshift rifle were coated with aluminum. He smoked a cigar and he had a scar on his neck that from the looks of it should've caused his head to tip back like a candy dispenser. He wore an outfit made of hard plastic. It was colored green and black. The next man was tan, short and skinny. He held two small pistol like guns. One that was hooked up to a 20lb tank attached to his right leg. It was capable of shooting 3 pellets at once in a scatter shot. The other one was attached to a 15 lb tank on his left leg. It was capable of shooting 3 separate shots that would cause moderate damage or 1 extremely powerful shot capable of piercing armor. He was fast and it was easy to see that. He wore loose clothes that would create a misleading trail as he moved. One would never know if they actually stabbed him in the side or if they completely missed. He carried a small knife on his neck but he hoped he'd never have to use it. The next man was white and kind of on the bigger side. He had a stomach but otherwise he was very average size. He had a gun that ran resembled a shotgun. It had a scattershot capable of shooting up to 12 pellets at once. This gun was hooked up to a 20lb tank on his back. It's true strength however is that it doubled as a club. It was very capable of killing someone with one swing. The last man was also tan but he had eyes that were piercing blue and seemed to have an oval shape to them. He had a smg like gun that was capable of shooting 3 consecutive pellets in a straight line. The tank on his side was about 18lbs.

The 4 men stood at attention. The man spoke. "you four have been assigned to hunt the bloodborn like animals. With every one you bring in your rations will increase, however this is only a bonus. I know you're all eager to kill the bastards after the last attack. I don't have to remind you about the blackout. You've been armed with the best guns we have. They're more efficient and powerful than any past model. These ones are able to have smaller tanks because of the new technology we discovered recently. These guns however have a down side. Do NOT drop them in the dirt. There are extremely powerful magnets inside that shoot the projectile forward along with the air pressure. This comes with the fact that anything metallic in the dirt will stick to them and could complicate the delicate machinery. Remember not to let your air tanks run low, especially at night. These new tanks have been equipped with special pumps on the top so that you can manually refill them without having to come back." as the man spoke they all became more eager and impatient. He could see on their faces that they were getting annoyed. He simply stopped talking and waved them off. Without a word the men left through the front gate. They took nothing with them but their guns and a few meals worth of food.
