Waiting and feelings - Chapter 8 ( I think? )

* Garroths POV *

It has been 2 days since Aphmau has been seen in the village. Donna told me that she went to brightport for the lord. He has healing magic that could help me. The wound is getting better, I think. It stopped bleeding and doesn't hurt as bad as it used to. I looked around as I heard a creek near the door. It was Donna, I saw some tea in her hand. She came up to me.

" Hey garroth, have you seen Aphmau? I know that's a weird question to ask, since you've been in bed all day, but I haven't seen her. " She said, putting tea on the table next to me. I took a sip. Golden flower tea. ( A/N Yes, an undertale reference. ) I thought, taking another sip.

" No, I haven't. " I was worried about Aphmau enough, and now Donna was just reminding me.

" Alright, I just thought aphmau would have checked on you first, of course, its why she went to brightport in the first place. " Donna said.

I took another sip of tea and yawned, assuming I was gonna dream about Aphmau. Donna tilted her head worryingly.

" Garroth, would you like to talk about something? You look nervous. "

I was lost in thoughts and didn't notice how much time had passed since I last talked. " Its just.... " I said, stuttering. Maybe it would make me feel better if I told someone about how I felt about Aphmau, but I was too nervous. I yawned, and noticed Donna had been waiting for an response.

"  No..... I'm just nervous about Aphmau.. " I lied. Not in the fact I was nervous about Aphmau, but in the fact I didn't wanna talk about something.

" If you say so. I'm gonna go outside, will you be ok? " She said, walking towards the door.

" Yeah. I'm going to sleep. " I responded, still feeling guilty. I was indeed tired, so I guess it is best I go to sleep. I finished off the Golden Flower Tea and went to bed.
