Guard & Lord ~ A garmau Fanfiction

Chapter 4 - The Old Lord's House.

* Aphmau's POV *

I woke up to a knock on my door from someone in a guard uniform. I opened the door and saw Zenix.

" Hey aphmau, Can i ask you a favor? " He said.

" Sure, what do you need? " I responded, grabbing my iron armor and putting it on.

" Well, we need someone to clean out the old lord's house, could you do it for garroth and I? "

" Yeah. "

" Follow me when your ready. Garroth is coming too." Zenix said, not in a rush at all for some reason.

I grabbed some corn and bread and headed out.

After coming to the new lords house, Garroth and Zenix went back to the village. I wondered why they didn't stay, but I continued on anyways. I looked at the house for 30 seconds; it doesn't look like it was ever a house at all. It was all broken, the only furniture was a baby cradle and a journal.

Should i read it?  I thought. It is a invasion of privacy, but for all I know someone left it for a reason, Why? No idea.

I decided to read it and flipped to the first page. It said;

" Day 1: Just arrived in a normal minecraft village. but these villagers are special! I can date them and stuff! "

 " Oh? Interesting..." I whispered to myself, debating if i should read on.

" Day 2: The villager Milifina seems to like me a lot! Maybe i should talk to her more. " I read.

Hmm...

" Day 3: Milifina and one of the guards are acting " Different "...... But in a good way! This is kinda cool!"

I Flipped to the next page, But there was nothing. I kept flipping pages, confused on why all these pages were ripped out.

Finally, I got to the last page and--

everything went black.

* Garroth's POV *

I patrolled the village that night, wondering when aphmau would come back. I started getting worried about her, so I tried knocking on Zenix's door.  But he wasn't there.

Confused, I put Dale on watch of the village and went off into the woods to go find Aphmau.

" Aphmau? APHMAU! " I called out through the forest, on my way to the old lord's house; I still get chills when I am there.

Once I finally got there, I saw aphmau laying on the floor. I leaned down and shook her a little bit. She opened her eyes.

" Garroth? Wha...what happened? " She said in a shaky voice . " And why does my head hurt? "

" I don't know, I wasn't here. Let's get back to the village and we will talk about it there " I responded in a worried tone.

" O..Ok.. " She said, rubbing her head and getting up.

After getting back to the village, Aphmau went to bed for the rest of the day. I felt tired too, but I needed to be on guard after taking that break. Zenix still wasn't back, either, which was worrying. I patrolled the village for the rest of the day and didn't see him. I went to sleep later that day.
