It had been a hot summer day. Digby had been, as usual, standing outside the Happy Homes Showcase. And guess what? Ready for this one, nobody had visited there. In days. He usually wouldn't do this, but Digby decided to leave his stand for the day. He went into Lyle's to let him know. There was a bit of an argument as to why he wanted to leave. Digby couldn't think of anything good to say, so he was surprised he let him leave. He lied saying his sister asked him to run her some errands. Of course Isabelle got to work in style. Inside the Town Hall working as a secretary for the mayor, with air condition. Oh how he would kill to stand inside the air condition all day, even if it meant paperwork and such. Better than doing nothing all day. Digby would never tell his sister that he was jealous of her. Because that would be rude, he should be happy for his sister. But maybe Digby needed something to make him happy, too.

He honestly didn't know where to go. Two people on Main Street he hadn't really spoken two were the museum clerks, Blathers and Celeste. Digby entered the little museum. It was quite a cute establishment. However, either of the owls seemed to be absent from their post downstairs. He heard both of them, upstairs. It seemed to be a bit of an argument, but the noise was muffled.

"But Blathers, it isn't fair." Celeste, whined, wanting to get her request. "Who are you going to date, Celeste? There's no time to date boys!" Blathers retorted back at her. Celeste knew this feeling felt odd. It was rare her and her brother ever fought. Usually they got along very well, but Celeste seemed to have new views on life. She was five years younger than her brother. Usually she just followed in his footsteps. But this time she realized that the museum life was not for her. "But Blathers! I'm twenty-three! I wanna be able to put on lip gloss and pretty dresses. And make sure to keep mint in my pocket so that I'm prepared to-" Blathers cut her off. "Don't say kiss!" He shrugged. "Celeste, I'm trying to protect you. Boys can be dangerous, and they only think of one thing when it comes to girl." Celeste sighed. All she wanted was a date. Someone who cared for her, who would hold her, and kiss her, and tell her that's she all he wants. Where could she get that? Where?
