Chapter 2: Did You Just See What I Just Saw!?

     I smile as the final bell for school rings, signaling that we can all go home. I end up meeting Cara at her locker. Today is one of those days where we're going out, but we aren't going to the mall. Today we decided we were just going to go on an adventure. I giggle as Cara and I link arms and walk out of the school. We start walking around town, but I soon get distracted when I get the feeling of someone watching me. Sure, call me stupid. I know there are people all around me who are probably watching me, but this feeling is a creepy feeling. Almost as if someone is stalking me. I drag Cara over to a little boutique and pull her into the small building.

    "What is it Sky?"
"I just feel like someone is watching us."
     "Sky come on there are people everywhere who are probably watching-"
"No!!! I mean like someone is stalking us!!"
       "Are you serious? You do this all the time."
"I am being very serious."

     I look away from Cara and as I do I see a guy in all black standing out in front of the store. But as I take in his appearance, I notice that he's dressed in all black. But his eyes are a bright and almost electric blue, and I can tell that only because he has a glare and it somehow landed on me. I smile at him and look away. Cara grabs my shoulders and screams...

       "SKYLAR!?"
"Huh!? What!? Did someone die?"
        "No you dipshit. But you just had like a five me staring contest with that dude out there."
"Hey!! He stared at me first."

I look up to see the guy still staring at me. I look away and start walking towards the exit. But as I start towards the door, the guy starts walking away. I burst through the door and follow him. As I start watching his movements closely, I notice that he keeps turning his head. And it's almost as if he's talking to someone. I shake it off and continue following him. He makes a sharp turn into an alleyway, and I follow closely behind.

         "Hey!!!" He turns around with wide eyes.

"M-me?"
           "Yeah you. Why were you staring at me?"
"Y-you're pretty."
            "Thanks."

   He nods and continues walking. I follow him until I watch him walk into THE abandoned asylum...
