So I got up and dusted myself off and abandoned my broken red high-heels and walked on the peculiarly cold and flat grass and walked in between the rows of trees. For some reason it was getting hard for me to keep my balance, but after a few meters it started getting easier for me.

It felt so nice to be away from reality. The breeze blowing in my hair, I felt free for the first time in a while. I could care less if my parents were looking for me or if our house had gone up in flames, I was happy to be far away from them. Another plus was that I wouldn't get in

trouble if no one knew where I was, no one could tell me what to do, I couldn't be forced to do anything. I was in complete control here. Well that's at least what I wanted to believe.

I started walking slowly but my joy of freedom overtook me and soon I was spinning through the orchard. My dress twirled as I spun and my knotty black locks were whipped around and strewn across my face. The dizziness got to me and soon I fell against a tree and the hard impact of the fall caused me to shriek for pain to spike through my back. The ground didn't help the cushion the fall either. How could a tree be rock solid? As I leaned against the tree, it's ice cold trunk caused me to flinch. Trees around here are hard and cold?

My vision was spinning and soon I was in the dark hallway from a few minutes ago which was lined with small flickering lightbulbs leading to a wide dark doorway to the very far right of where I was sitting against the cold wall. The small room I was in a while ago was probably one of the many dark door-less rooms that lined the eternally long hallway. My heart quickened when I sensed movement in the room across from me.
