Thankfully my vision flickered and I was graced with the beautiful sight of cherry trees. The thumping in my chest slowed down and I saw that the movement was actually a seemingly harmless orange tabby cat.

It looked at me with it's big yellow eyes and just stood there on it's four legs and waited for a reaction. I examined it's grown and nimble figure and admired it's full and fluffy orange and white coat. I didn't dare move; regarding to all the incidents that have occurred so far I didn't want to test anything. It was also the first living being I had come across in this journey.

We stayed like that for a while until I broke. Was it really not going to do anything?

"Uh hello?" I blurted. What was I even doing? Cats can't speak I'd probably gone mad from this place.

"Hello," answered the cat in a monotone voice. I was so shocked that it replied my eyes widened and my jaw dropped. "You must be new here," the cat continued.

"So, um you can actually talk? I'm not imagining this?" I asked fumbling over my words in bewilderment.

"So you're not from around here. I see, so welcome to the Cherry Orchards," remarked the cat with the same blank face. You'd expect a talking cat to be exactly like the Cheshire Cat from Wonderland but this cat seemed nothing like it. It's voice was quite cold, monotone, and creepy and very hollow.

"Where is this place though? Meaning what city, what country is it in?" I inquired helplessly.

"So are you trying to find your way around this place?"

The cat wasn't answering my questions and it was angering me a lot.

"Yes I would.Is there a way out?"

Though I hated the very idea of going back home or reality in general, I needed to keep my options open. Just in case something profoundly crazy happened it would keep me stable to have some emergency exit points out there.

"Well I don't think you'd ever find it. The door only ever finds you," implied the cat. "Just keep walking, the door only reveals itself when it wants to. You might be lucky."

The cat's yellow eyes bored into mine and turned into soulless black ovals. It hissed right in my face before retreating behind a tree.
