Lacey's POV 

"What's it say?" I ask looking at the bathroom door with anxious eyes. We had been wondering about this for the past 2 hours and we finally decided that we needed to know for a fact. 

"I haven't looked at it," I hear her say. 

"You need to know sweety."

"Could you just look and tell me what it says?" she asks me as the door opens. Mel looked stressed and I knew that this wasn't good for her. 

"No, this is between you and your fiancé. I will be here no matter what but you and him did this." I say putting my hands on her shoulders. She is always so strong but this was making her more like a kid and weak. 

"I can't do it Lace! What if it tells me what I don't want it to tell me? What next?"

"Then we deal with it as it comes, just like we have always done with something comes unexpectantly. We get it and move on."

"Please just look at it for me Lace, I can't do it."

"Fine, but no matter what, I am here and so are the boys. We are your family, and we aren't leaving anytime soon. You are stuck with us for life," I smile at her. She smiles weakly at her and I walk into the bathroom. 

It was like the world was moving in slow motion as I walked towards the sink. With each step it was coming closer to telling us what our next curve ball was going to be. 

I close my eyes as I approach the sink not wanting to see it before I was ready. 

I gather up my courage and take a deep breath as I reach the sink. I let the deep breath out as I look down and look at sink. I see the sign that I know Mel didn't want to see, but there it is. In black and white, well it's pink and white but still. 

"Lacey, what's it say?" I hear Mel say from the hall.

I couldn't respond I was frozen in place. 

"Lacey please just tell me I'm dying here," her voice made me warm up and look away from the test.  I walk out to her and her eyes were wide in annticipation. "What is it?"

"Plus," I say and her jaw drops and her handfalls to her still flat stomach.
