"Don't you remember the day we met Dave", I asked
"Yeah, it was when Anais told you I liked you, so thought I had to tell you myself", he said
"How did you two meet, I don't remember being there", Anais asked

This part is told in the past:

"Um,hey", I remember hearing a voice beside me
"Um, hey", I remember saying
"I'm Dave", I remember him saying
"I'm Delia", I remember saying
"So Anis must of told you that I like you", I remember him saying while blushing
"Yeah", I remember saying
"Well, it's actually true", I remember him saying
"Ohh", I remember saying surprised
"I know that I should get to know you before I can actually know if I like you, so what do you say, friends?", I remember him saying

Yeah, turns out it didn't take as long as I thought so I'm gonna just skip to the part where he asked me out. Obviously it was a dare but I think it's worth talking about. This is still last year.
