Eli stood, fists clenched. It stared him in the eye, with a fiery, piercing gaze.
"Yes, that's right Elijah...I've been waiting on you here..."
"Leave me alone. Go away. Haven't you tortured me long enough?"
"Why the attitude? You created me... If it's gone you want me... All you have to do is let me kill you. No more pain... No more suffering..."
"No. You're going and you're not taking me with you."
"Is that so? You know, we could always live in harmony..."
"I don't see how."
"It's simple, you join me, we wreak havoc on others, and live a productive life together. No strings attached."
"In your dreams, I know better than to trust you. You'll turn me into a monster."
"No, in your dreams Elijah."
Suddenly, the beeping alarm snapped Elijah from his not so restful rest. "Oh, it was just a dream..." He confirmed as he flopped back down into his pillow. "Why me?" He thought to himself. "What have I done to deserve this?"
