Yes, this is a fan fiction. Hopefully it will pan out, but for now, fingers crossed. Oh, and this book has a very special dedication. My dear friend CloudySun, I am pretty sure you knew what this story is based about the minute you saw the title. And therefore, it is dedicated to you XD BTW, all credit for the majority of characters and 'Black Butler' goes to Yana Toboso, who is a genius for making it. Ok, disclaimer done, on with the show XP
Prologue -- First days
First days of school are always the worst. I definitely think so. And therefore, it was with great reluctance that I allowed myself to be dragged out of bed this morning by my mother, who insisted I wake up early to get ready for my new school.
From all that I had heard, I would have thought it to be a rather hard to get into school, one of those high and mighty, fancy 18th century boarding schools.
I at least got two out of three correct. It was, indeed, a high society boarding school and certainly looked like it was older than my great, great grandfather. And believe me, that is old. But that is also jumping the gun. It wouldn't do to tell a tale if you did not know who was telling it, would it now? I am Sebastian Michaelis, middle son of Marcus Michaelis and Elina Michaelis. Who my brothers are is not important. Just know that I have two.
Now, to begin this at the beginning.
-------------------------------------------------------
"Sebastian! Wake up darling, or you'll be late for school!"
My mothers voice was - thankfully - muffled by my room door as she called from downstairs. I squeezed my eyes shut and pulled my blanket over my head, trying to block out the outside world. It was hard because of Night jumping around on me. No luck for the wicked, I guess.
Not a minute later, my blanket was viciously ripped away from me by my mother. How did she even get up here that fast?! I hissed and spluttered as the cold air hit my comfortably warm body. Night hissed as she was thrown onto the floor.
"Come now, young man, up you get, up you get. If you don't get up now, you will not have time to have breakfast and you might, quite possibly end up late for school." My mother dropped my blanket on the floor. I winced. I hated it when things were not orderly and having my blanket all rumpled on the floor ranked pretty high under that category.
I sent a glare after my mother as she bustled out of my room. Stretching slightly, I finally stood up from my bed and walked over to my cupboard. Taking out my perfectly clean uniform - I greatly disliked uniforms too - I slipped out of my room and down the hall towards the bathroom.
I could hear a heavy snoring coming from my elder brothers room. I snorted as I passed his door. Lucky pig.
With the bathroom door locked, I sighed in desperation. It appeared that my younger brother had gotten here before me. The room was a mess.
Rolling up my sleeves, I resigned myself to a few extra minutes work before breakfast.
-----------------------------------------------
By the time I had finished my breakfast, I quickly made my way upstairs to grab the bag I had packed in preparation for the boarding school. Checking everything off one last time, I gave my immaculate room a quick visual sweep before closing my door behind me. But not before casting a longing glance at my sweet girl. My dear little black cat. I would miss her.
The drive to my school was long and rather tiresome. Not to mention, I wasn't even being taken all the way to my school. I was getting a lift to the train station, from where I would take a train halfway into the country side.
