Death's Touch

Chapter 2

Hi I just wanna thank ( and dedicate ) iamTARDIS since if it was not for her there won't be any Liana. I inspired Liana from her, so lets call her the origianl Liana shall we. Or we can also call her by her name that gave me Liana's name, which is Iliana. :) lets give thanks to her, check out her stories too!

And also, thanks to FrizzBlue for making the amazing trailer at the side and for being just overall a great friend!

Dawn's POV

  Liana gently dropped the serpent in our bathtub. She filled it with water and watched it gladly swim around. Surprisingly Liana is a huntress but she has a soft spot for baby animals and ones that are magical. She then walked over to her bed and jumped right on top. I smiled at her then slowly walked over to my bed, it was black with a maroon blanket on top and a few plush pillows the shape of skulls. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I stood up and walked over to it, opened it and saw Rose holding the little serpent around her arms. It had a small injury in it's front left leg.

   Liana ran up to the front door and stared at the little creature. " What happened?" She demanded in a pleading tone.

   " Well he saw a bird flying outside and the bird landed on a prickly bush and he chased it there. Which is why I was late and he is injured, but its not that severe." She said in an apologetic tone. But I know that nobody can get mad at her when she is like that. Liana carefully took the bronze creature from Rose's hands and slowly put him in the tub.

     I walked over to the window and looked at the street, there were kids in bicycles, houses and stores around the place. But I was imprisoned here with this annoying curse still stuck to me. The school puts a special spell that makes all normal humans think that this is just an ordinary snotty private school for snotty rich girls.

      Rose slowly walked over to her bed and slid her hand under one of her heart pillows and brought out a small light cream notebook with a lock. She gently unlocked it with her charm bracelet which had a charm of a key. And soon she started to write about stuff and Liana was busy with the serpents. I looked out once again and wished that I was born normal like those people outside. As if they had no care in the world. Oh how I envied them so much.

    Liana suddenly stopped from her game of catch the serpent and walked over to us. She held out her watch and pointed at the time. It was six o' clock, dinner time. The three of us walked out of our dorm and locked the door. Rose started to wave her hands and soon her hands were full of golden dust, she gently sprinkled it all on me. I smiled and thanked her, it must be a burden to do this for me cause it drains her energy. I slowly touched one of the little cats running at the hall. ( Yeah we are allowed to keep pets here. ) I smiled knowing that once again Rose put all her effort into me.

    We stopped at the entrance to the cafeteria, Rose quickly dashed for the nearest table and reserved it for us. Rose and Liana walked over to the lunch lady to get their dinner. Liana came back with the food everyone else had ( fried chicken ). Rose came back with two trays and she gave one to me. I smiled and thanked her, as I slowly lifted my fork to dig in the delicious steak ( yeah Rose gets star treatment everywhere ). After eating, Liana started to tug on my sleeve and pointed to the direction of the library. I looked at Rose with a pleading look ,but she still said no. Liana slumped her shoulders and looked at Rose coldly. Rose tried hard to ignore her, while I was still looking at the direction of the library.

    After a couple of glaring and ignoring, Liana finally made Rose let us go. Rose stayed behind, while we dashed for the library. Liana asked me for the directions to the door. But I let her down cause I forgot since our library is pretty big, bigger than th cafeteria and is three floors high.

   A small black wisp appeared in front of me, I stumbled in surprise but Liana caught me. She looked at the wisp as if she wanted to hunt it down, I grabbed her arm and told her to follow it. And we did, it led us to the red door. Liana ran up to the door and grabbed the nob and twisted it, revealing a forest. Liana squealed excitedly. And ran right in.

   She walked to a figure out in the distance. I quickly followed her, then she suddenly stopped.
