 Dawn's POV

We both walked slowly to the figure. The creature moved closer to us, revealing a handsome white deer with golden antlers and hooves. Liana brought out one of her knives and stuck it near the deer, it barely touched it's muzzle. But the deer took no notice as if Liana was just a little bunny holding a carrot. Liana gave an irritated look at the deer and her knife inched a bit closer to the deer. I held her hand back and looked at the beautiful deer, its the kind of creature you would spot Rose riding.

I reached out for it, touching it's muzzle the deer flinched, but soon calmed down. I smiled while Liana stared at me as if giving me a look that the deer is evil. She slowly put her knife back into her pocket and watched the deer. I sighed and looked at Liana. " Do you think I can change my destiny?" I asked her, while she looked at her hand. ( Every sorceress or magician had a mark on their hand which marks their destiny ) Liana's had a sword and arrows crossing it with dragon wings at the back. Rose had a rose with a dove surrounding it. I don't have mine yet, so I am hoping the path I get won't be the one I am expecting.

The golden powder around me started to flicker and soon I had no more. I sighed as my hand stopped touching the creature and the grass around me started to wither. Liana took three steps back and stared at me. " I am not so sure you can change your destiny Dawn and we better get back to Rose before you end up killing something." She urgently told me.

" You go on ahead." I told her. " I just wanna check something out."

" Um, OK then." She murmured and left me, leaving the red door open. I stared at the deer as it stared back at me. The eyes seem like they are not from a deer's though more of a human's. Tears started to form from my eyes and dropped from them, they landed on the ground making the plants die as if it was acid.

The deer looked at me with curious eyes and soon it's hooves started to turn peach and soon sprouted feet that replaced the hooves. Fur fell off and replaced skin and clothes and light brown hair on top and soon the antlers disappeared too. And there I saw a boy, smiling at me he had bright green eyes, lighter than Liana's and brown sandy hair. ( Every sorcerer or sorceress can morph into two animals one normal the other magical. )

" So you wanna change your destiny eh." He said with a sly smile.

" Who, who are you?" I asked, backing away until I bumped into a tree.

" The name is Reed, so as I was saying. You wanted to change your destiny, right?" He looked at me with full curiosity. I nod my head and he smiled. " Then come with me, oh your a sorcerer too right, oh, I mean sorceress?" He asked me and I nod my head again.

He closed his fists and soon my tears were dried up. His power must be fire, I guess. Then I noticed a golden deer mark on his hand and fire behind it. He extended his hand. But I did not take it.

" My power is death, I cannot touch you cause my friend's spell on me has faded already." I told him. As he backed his hand away. " Well, I am off I got to go back to school."

" Well then bye Misfortune." He softly whispered to himself.

I looked at the red door and slowly went through it, and I was back in the school's library. I quickly ran towards my dorm, making sure I did not touch anybody. I opened the door and walked right in.
