Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a pegasus. She had no name, since it was in the Pegasus language, and it isn't really translatable. I tried once, and the ending result was where I started - horse sounds. Lots, and lots, of horse sounds was all I could find. Anyways, I have decided we will call her Ferkala, because her parents (who speak English), said she will be called that once she is old enough to learn English. Anyways, Ferkala was at home, feeding her cat some more freeze-dried flies when she heard a knock at the door. Ferkala was only seven, so she didn't open the door, but peeked through the glass on it. It was a man in a suit. He was not human, but resembled one. The man was holding a briefcase, and looked grumpy. Ferkala shouted up to her parents, who were upstairs. Her mom (Slindee), yelled back, and started to trot down the stairs. Slindee told her to go upstairs, and watch TV while she talked with the man. As Ferkala walked up stairs, she could faintly hear her mom talking to the man. The man was talking about a place called The Wyninus, a place where humans lived. Ferkala was told humans where magical creatures, who walked on two feet, didn't have wings, and had thumbs. Most pegasi thought humans were weird, and awkward, but Ferkala was interested in learning about them. Teachers never really taught about them, since they were just a mythical creature, that didn't exist. Ferkala believed in them. Ferkala wanted to meet one. Then Ferkala realized she had tripped, and was falling down the stairs. Pegasi are very fragile, and black out easily, so she blacked out as soon as she landed at the bottom of the steps. Ferkala woke up on her bed, with an icepack on her shoulder and the TV on her favorite show, SquareJerry Spongekhakis. She started to sing along to the theme song, and her mom walked in with a smile on her face. Her mom told her to come down for dinner when she was ready, then left the room. Before Ferkala could get up, she saw the man's face in her window. Ferkala screamed, and hid under the covers. When Slindee walked in, Ferkala got out from the covers and told her mom what happened. Her mom was convinced she had hallucinated, and that she needed to go back to sleep. Ferkala said she was hungry, and so her mom left for a few minutes, and when she was back she had a large plate in her hand. Ferkala took the plate, and ate all of the food. Pegasi don't normally eat daily, and so Ferkala was pretty hungry. Ferkala then fell asleep, and had a dream about the man.
