Harry found himself alone the next morning. He stretched out an arm, patting around the large bed for his glasses. He sat up a bit and reached for the night stand, smacking his glasses to the floor. Yet again. The annoyed Gryffindor sighed while sitting up, picking his glasses off of the floor, and sliding them onto his face. He had to blink a couple times to realize where he was.

"What?" he stood up abruptly. What time was it? Where was Draco? "Draco?" Silence. Harry huffed as he grabbed his wand and cloak. He slipped the cloth on and slipped from the Slytherin's room. The Slytherin common room seemed to be empty; Harry heard nothing.

He hurried down the hallway and out into the common room, and as he expected, it was empty. He looked for a clock, spotting one on the enormous fireplace. 10:21 am. Harry looked around frantically: why didn't Draco wake him up? How does he get out of here? He took a deep breath and tried to recap what happened last night. He walked slowly to an entryway, this must be it. He placed a hand on one of the dark bricks, not sure what else to do.

Surprisingly, it opened, and Harry graciously exited the chilly room.

"Who's there?" Harry heard a voice. He turned and saw (was it Goyle?) standing in the hallway, looking pale. Harry's heart rate quickened, but then he remembered he was wearing his cloak. Goyle, or Crabbe, whichever one, stepped closer, raising his wand. "Show yourself." Harry eyed the bigger kid up and down.

"Crabbe, who are you talking to?" a voice snapped from behind him, causing Harry's heart rate to quicken even more.

"Someone's here," Crabbe said, ignoring the fact that he's looking like a complete fool. Draco frowned, snapping his head to where Harry was standing. His eyes lightened as he put the pieces together, a light smirk formed on his face.

"No one's here." He grabbed Crabbe's shoulder. "Now hurry and get your parchment. I'll wait here." He pushed him through the entry way. Crabbe huffed, but hurried inside the common room. Once he checked that Crabbe was gone, he turned back to Harry.

"Potter?" he whispered. Harry sighed and pulled off his cloak. Harry ignored Draco's smile and pushed him away. Draco stumbled back, dumbfounded. "What was that for?"

"Why didn't you wake me up three hours ago?" Harry snapped. Draco chuckled.

"You just looked so peaceful, something I never see. Plus, I wanted to see your reaction to when you wake up."

Harry frowned, clenching his fists.

"You should've woken me up! Gosh.. Ron, Hermione... I have to go," Harry said, taking off.

"Potter!" Draco called after him. Harry stopped and looked over his shoulder. "Don't forget-"

"What's going on here?" A voice interrupted him, causing both Harry and Draco to pale. Crabbe was clenching his forgotten parchment, eyeing the two of them. Without thinking, Draco took out his wand.

"Flipendo!" he shouted, causing Crabbe to fly back into the common room. Harry stepped back, his eyes wide. Draco turned to Harry. "Put that on," he gestured to Harry's cloak, "and go. I got this." He then turned and marched into his common room, the brick wall closing behind him.

Harry was glued to his spot. Flipendo? He shifted on his feet, threw his cloak over him, and hurried out of the dungeons.

"And where were you, Harry?" Hermione asked, folding her arms over her chest. Ron looked expectantly at him. Harry drummed his fingers on his textbook, thinking of an excuse fast.
