Rabbit Hole [TEEN WOLF]

0.2 more bad than good

Stiles grips Liliths hand as they sprint through the forest, branches and leaves whipping at her face. Turning a corner Stiles and Lilith get tangled up in something, screaming the frantically slapping the object until they realise it was Scott screaming back at her.

"I think I found something." Stiles says hands on Scotts shoulder.

"So did I." Scott says grimly. Leading the two other teens into a small cave.

"It's a coyote den." Stiles says ducking under a rock.

"Werecoyote." Lilith says rubbing her bare arms trying to keep warm.

"You see this? This is Malia's. Remember, it's the same one she was wearing in the photo." Stiles says picking a blue jacket up off the floor.

"We shouldn't be in here." Scott says frowning.

"What do you mean?" Stiles questions.

"She's not going to come back now. We just invaded her home. Our scent's going to be everywhere." Lilith says causing the boys heads to snap up and look at her.

"Coyotes are like super smart." Lilith says finally noticing the looks on the boys faces.

"What? I read." She says defensively.

"If she's not going to come back here, where's she going to go?" Stiles questions.

Scott frowns "I don't know."

"Can you track her now? You think you got her scent?"

"Maybe. But I'm better at this when I'm a full wolf. And I'm still worried that if I do it, I won't be able to turn back." Scott says.

"The door's still open. " Lilith mutters.

"If I can't get to Derek, we're gonna have to find someone else to help. This is basically a crime scene, right? I think it might be a little out of my boss's league. "

"And more in my dad's."

"You're sure it was her?" The sheriff says to Scott disbelief in his voice.

"I looked her right in the eyes. And they glowed just like mine."

"It makes sense, Dad." Stiles says to his father.

"But it wasn't a girl. It was a four-legged coyote, right?"

"Well, okay. But yeah, see, that's the point that we don't exactly have figured out yet. "

"Okay, but if it was a full moon and she did change while her mom was driving, then anything could've happened." Scott says pleading with Stiles father.

"Horrible things could've happened. Ripping, shredding, tearing things."

"Gross Stiles." Lilith says screwing up her nose.

"Which is probably what caused the accident." Scott continues smiling at Liliths comment.

"Think about it, Dad, all right. They're driving, Malia starts to change, she goes out of control, the mom crashes and everybody dies"
