"Lilith?" The sheriffs voice rings through the shaking girls head as she looked up to meet his sympathetic gaze.

"Is there anything else you can tell me?" He asks looking down at the blonde who was wrapped up in a blanket.

"I didn't see anything, the guy he just- he just went crazy." Lilith spits looking around the room that had previously been filled with police but was now empty.

"Do you have anywhere to stay?"

"No I haven't got any other family, I just had my mom." Lilith chokes as a sob rises in her throat and her hand flying to the now patched up wound on her side done hastily by a paramedic who had realised Lilith was not going to leave the scene.

"There's no one we could call?"

"Lydia's mom I guess, my mom and her went to college together, she should know."

"Alright kiddo." The sheriff starts squeezing Lilith shoulder reassuringly before walking away to make the phone call. They had taken her mothers body away hours ago but Lilith could still see the blood staining the walls...and her hands.

"I called Natalie and she's on her way." The sheriff says from behind her causing her to jump. His face pulled down in a sad frown as he looked at the small girl in front of him, who he had never seen look fragile in her life shaking in front of him.

"I'm so sorry this happened Lilith." He says because it's all he can say.

"Sure." She states numbly staring at the space in front of her.

"Lilith!" A voice states from the entryway both turning they see Natalie and Lydia Martin standing in the doorway.

Natalie lets out a small gasp at the sight of the girl who was covered in blood, on her hands, staining her clothes and matting her hair. Lydia stands to the side of her mother making eye contact with the blonde, taking a hesitant step forward Lydia approaches Lilith like a small animal trying to keep from scaring her. Meeting Lydia's gaze Lilths eyes fill with tears, this is the confirmation Lydia needs stepping forward quickly almost jogging she wraps the smaller blonde in a tight embrace disregarding the blood as she held the girl. Lilith slowly returns the embrace while fighting back tears.

"I'm covered in blood." Lilith states to Lydia pulling back to meet her eyes. Lydia gives the girl a small sad but reassuring smile.

"Doesn't matter."

"But Lydia-" Lilith starts but is promptly cut off.

"Doesn't matter all that matter is that you're safe." Lydia says tucking a hair being Liliths ear. The statement makes Liliths eyes fill with tears once again Lydia pulls the girl back into the hug without second thought. Silence fills the room for a moment before Lilith starts sobbing into Lydia's shoulder. Louder and louder Liliths sobs continue her knees give out and she falls to the floor only to have Lydia fall with her. The sheriff and Natalie look on at the girls, who were still wrapped in embrace while Lilith wailed, tears filling both adults eyes.

"I said hold still." Lydia sighs at Aiden who is posing in a sitting position while Lydia is sat at the canvas.

"Are we even allowed to be here this late? What if security catches us?"
