A/N- That last chapter gives me the shivers. I was kind of surprised my brother didn't hear my heart beating as I wrote it. Do you think everything is happening too fast? Or is it just right? Please let me know in the comments.

----------------------

I had changed into black running tights, a black tank top, and my black running shoes. I tied my hair up into I high ponytail. I took off my glasses, and instead out on contacts.

A few years ago for Halloween I dressed up as some warrior person, and had worn one of those cross chest weapon holder things. Now here I was, wearing it and putting real knives in it. I put in the sharpest ones I could find.

Then I remembered my dad had a gun in his dresser, just for protection of course. I went to his room, took it out, and put it in my back pocket.

Then I grabbed a long black sweater that would cover up my numerous weapons. I don't think the police would approve of me walking around with fifteen knives and a gun strapped to my chest.

I grabbed my backpack, and stuffed it full of food and water bottles, as well as deodorant, tooth brush, toothpaste, extra hair ties, a hairbrush, a sleeping bag, and a credit card my parents had given me for emergencies.

I then wrote my parents a short note, saying I'd gone away for a while but I'd hopefully be back soon. I'd probably be back before they read the note though. If I came back, that is.

Finally I grabbed my phone and my keys, and walked out of my house, giving it one last look. This was probably the last time I'd ever see it.

I went to the garage and grabbed my bike. I couldn't drive yet, and I wasn't exactly going to walk the distance a car could cover in 10 hours.

Sure, it'll take me a while, but I don't have any other options. It's not like I could get on a plane with my ten pounds of weapons. And if I went on a bus, someone was sure to notice what I was hiding.

So I had to take the treck on a bike.

I set off at an amazing speed to rescue the only people left in the world I still care about. My parents were always on business trips, never taking the time to stop by. My only friend just betrayed me. I've never had a lover. All I have left is the band that saved my life. I was a girl with a mission, and I was going to complete that mission.
