I was good with those types of things, I could tell when people were behaving of ill intentions, and curiously enough, Harry Potter was acting in a most peculiar fashion. His brilliant green eyes were darting from side to side, I watched him pull a worn piece of parchment from a pocket in his robes, study it and then stow it back away. Then, Harry was on the move again, pushing by the crowded hallways, he seemed to know exactly where he was headed, like he was on a rather maliciously tainted mission. I really had no choice but to follow, wishing for the umpteenth time that Draco was with me. I proceeded to evade the bustling of my fellow Hogwarts students, which proved to be more hinder some than one would've imagined. My large feathered wings involuntarily jostled other pupils, but I too was on a mission, so halting was not and option.

Harry had stopped, he stood just outside the boys' lavatory. As he scrutinized the piece of parchment again, I watched his jaden eyes cloud with an emotion, one I just couldn't place. As Harry entered the washroom, I loitered just outside the doors, hoping to eavesdrop on whatever that would take place in there. For some strange reason the first noise that filled my ears was... Sobbing? Then it stopped, I heard a soft crooning in it's place, but a different voice. The crying one responded in choppy stutters, saying "No, no one can help me... I can't... I won't..." It gulped, "it won't work... And unless I do it soon... He says he'll kill me..." I shuddered, a Hogwarts student almost dead wasn't the only problem, my dilemma was that I knew that voice, it belonged to my crush, my boyfriend, my Yule Ball date, my friend, it belonged to Draco Malfoy.
