Draco woke me up in the gentlest of ways, opening my eyes, I  realized that I was still on the couch. I sat up and stretched. "It's breakfast, come on Riddle, you're gonna make me late!" He complained in a teasing tone. It was so great to see Draco in such a good mood again.
"I know, I am going." I stood up drowsily, running my fingers through my long hair, I grabbed my bag and walked out of the common room hand-in-hand with Draco.
"Angel!" Said a voice suddenly from the direction of the Ravenclaw table, I was just entering the Great Hall, and as I suspected, Kriss Lovegood, my best female friend, was waiting for me. As usual. "Angel, I need to talk to you real quick."
Searching for Kriss's signature long straw-blonde hair, I raised my eyebrows. Walking towards her. "What's the magic word? God, where are your manners Kriss!" I said jokingly, "So what do you want?"
"Um, I just need to talk to you about... Well... You and Malfoy..." She gave me an apologetic smile. Taking a step back, I shot Kriss a confused glance. "You see, you guys are great friends and I respect that, but you walked in holding hands with him, and just don't think that he's good enough for you, he lives in a family of Death Eaters after all."
"And I, the daughter of Lord Voldemort is so much more better then a sixteen year old Death Eater? I asked, giving my friend a withering glare.
"He's a Death Eater now?!" Kriss's face portrayed fathomless shock.
"No... Yes... Maybe?! That's besides the point." But Kriss wasn't having any of it.
"This is definitely the point!" She stated ferociously. And I broke.
"SO WHAT IF I KISSED A DEATH EATER?!" I whisper-yelled, furious.
"You... You did what?" She replied, taking on a ominously calmer tone. "You kissed him?"
"Well... Yeah," I looked Kriss dead in the eye, "yeah, I did kiss Draco, and I won't regret it because I... Well, I think I love him..." Kriss didn't argue with that statement, instead she just gave me a tired look and walked away. Sighing, I sat down at the Slytherin table.
