Egypt Nieves

This is such a big step in my life. I'm finally leaving New York, finally stepping out of character. The city will always have a place in my heart, it raised me, got me my job, everything. As young as 24 life has taken me so far. My name, Egypt Nieves. I'm a regular city girl with ambition and goals. I feel that by all means, I need to get this money.

Aden, my best friend, offered me the guest bedroom in the apartment she is renting with her boyfriend. The only problem is, it's in LA. The LA part isn't what bothers me though, it's the making my money part. I'm a wardrobe stylist, and yea people know my name, so what. My hype is in New York, not LA, I just feel like I'd lose so much income making this life changing decision.

As I took a look back at the state I love that most from my seat on the plane, I realized I never thought moving away would be this hard. It kinda felt like burying a dead dog to me, my heart legit hurt. I prayed Los Angeles be good to me and put on my headphones.

Hours later I was laying in bed at my new home. I drank some water and took the ibuprofen that Aden had sat beside it. This jet lag was definitely a buzz killer. I was supposed to be out with my best friend shopping, catching up on old times. Instead, she's probably out by herself, or with her famous basketball player of a boyfriend, Steph. I turned to my side and dozed off.

When I awoke, it was nine in the morning. I threw the covers off my body and went through the box labeled, bathroom supplies. I grabbed a towel and a cloth and walked into the attached bathroom. Blasting Bryson Tiller, I sang and danced in the shower. I yelled for Aden, and she ran in the room.

"Best friend!" She screamed.

"Hey bitch!" I yelled back, "this look good?"

"Yea, you look good babes, I've missed you so much," Aden said fixing my bun

"Yea, you look good babes, I've missed you so much," Aden said fixing my bun.

We talked a little before she decided we should go out for brunch. I agreed and started hanging my clothes in the closet while she got ready. Around one we met up in the hallway and she took me to a nice diner.

"So yea, Steph he's amazing. I love him, and even with everything he has going for him, I don't allow this extra shit get to me."

I slipped from under ole'  broads grasp and put on my shoes. I looked at her and smirked, dick real bomb, her ass knocked out. Grabbing my phone, I looked at a missed call from Chris.

"Yo?" I said starting my car. "Wasgood?"

"You know a wardrobe stylist bro?"

"Nah, but I know my sister got a friend. I'll put you on to her," I nodded as if he could see.

After Chris hung up I rolled up and drove to my house puffing. Stepping in and kicking off my shoes has to have been the best thing I've done all day. After fucking that random bitch that steady keep calling my phone. I needed some sanity.

I woke up the next morning in a daze. I don't even remember what I got into last night but it was some real shit. All I remember is leaving shorty crib. I checked my phone and started scrolling through Instagram.

"Aye, who this?" I said to myself after coming across a picture on my sister page. "Egypt."

I talked to Steph and told him to speak to Aden

I talked to Steph and told him to speak to Aden. I haven't really been on good terms with her ever since she found out I wasn't taking real good care of my kid. It isn't my fault though, Chyna she ain't been real happy with me ever since I started messing with Kylie. Not like I ain't wanna take care of King.
