(Chapter 7) The Comedown

 My alarm clock starts buzzing, I groan. "IT'S TOO EARLY, SHUT UP." I try smacking the top of the alarm to turn it off, but it wouldn't budge. "COME ON, JUST TURN OFF! YOU PIECE OF-"

"Carmen, calm down. You know you have to hit the side to turn it off." My mom walks over to the little table besides my bed and turns it off. Well don't I feel stupid. I pull the covers over my head. "Carmen."My mom starts shaking me. "Carmen, wake up." I shove my head under the pillow. "Okay I warned you." I heard her get up and walk away, I pulled my head out from under the pilliow, the sun comes beaming in 

"NOOO , IT BURNS!MOM CLOSE THE CURTAINS!"

"Can't hear you, i'm going down the stairs!" I hear my mom shout from the top of the stairs. I groan and drop myself to the floor, pretending i'm sort of vampire that can't let the sun touch itor it will burn into a million sparkly things. I crawl over to my bathroom and get up once I'm in. I do my normal morning routains, you know. Look at my myself for like 10minutes,brush my teeth while showering, get out look at my body for another 10minutes, and then act like some sort of ninja while trying to close my room door, and pull my curtains close so these pervs won't watch me changing even though their's like a huge tree between us, still a girl needs to be safe. I change into a cozy button down, and some black jeans, and of course vans. It's a obession, I know. I put on my dark red vans, that has black laces. I plug in my headphones to my ipod and grab my bookbag. I walk downstairs and enter the kitchen. I went into a draw we have that has money inside, i'm not suppose to take money from it but they won't find out. I quickly grab a 20, and close it quitely. 

"Bye,mom! I'M LEAVING, YOU KNOW TO SOMETHING CALLED SCHOOL!" I shout while I plug my headphones in my ear, and start heading out. The thought of what happened yesterday came rushing through my mind. I bite my lip to keep myself from smiling, like a idiot. I start to walk a bit faster to school. I was over the top of overwhelmed and a bit too hyper, I really wanted to see him, I guess. I stopped by a store, and bought sour gummy worms. I start eating them when I get to the front of the school. I saw Christine come running to me, she was wearing a strip shirt, and white jeans.  "Well don't you look cute today." I complement Christine,

"Why thank you, but let's not try to change the subject here!" She steals a handful of my gummy worms

"Hey! You can't just steal my candy like that!" Another person's hand grab a handful of my gummy worms, "What the fuck?!" I turn around to see Oli, smiling down at me as he shoves gummy worms in his mouth. I took out one of my headphone. 

"Ooh what song are you listening too?" Christine snatched my ipod, and my other headphone came flying out. She put one in her ear, and Oliver shoves the other in his ear

"YOU GUYS CAN'T JUST ROBE ME LIKE THIS! I KNOW WHERE YOU GUYS LIVE!" I shout at them. A few people stop walking and stare at me like i'm some sort of nut. They both start laughing

"What is this Avril Lavigne?" Oli asks me

"Yes it is, now can I have it back?" I put my hand out 

"Wait how would you know this is Avirl Lavigne?" Christine turns her head towards Oli.

"Oh I -uh I don't know." 

"It's okay if you like Avril Lavigne." I tell Oliver. I snatch my ipod 

"OUCH" They both shout at the same time, I shove my ipod in my back pocket and start walking inside school. 

"Motherfuckers own me gummy worms.." I mumble to myself, as I shove my bookbag inside my locker and get out a textbook and my binder. I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist, I turn around to be face with Oli. "You owe me sour gummy worms."
