33 - Christmas Presents

Kyles POV

I knocked on her room signalling it was time to go.

Emily walked out in galaxy effect shorts and a one direction crop top.

She might not have been my girlfriend but she did look pretty.

She knew the things Lottie wanted but wouldn't tell me because she thought they were too pricey and didn't want me spending my money on her.

She was my girlfriend though and has been since year 8 so I thought I should be able to buy her expensive presents by now.

Whilst they were shopping Kyle saw an old couple kissing and he told Emily he wished that was him and Lottie.

Brandon's POV

I'd asked Lottie to come to the cinema with me so I could get her out the way of Kyle and Emily whilst they were out buying presents.

Me and Lottie had already gone so we didn't need to.

Halfway through the film I did the cheesy thing of yawning and putting my arm around Lottie.

Lottie looked at me and I removed my arm.

"Sorry, I'm used to coming with Emily if I come alone with a girl" I told her truthfully.

She smiled a forgiving smile and looked back at the screen but straight after jumped into my arms in fright.

We were watching Paranormal Activity 4 and even though Lottie loves horror films she was a little scared.

(a/n not sure how many paranormal activities there are but I couldn't think of another horror film so used this. I know that there's a 1, 2 and a 3 but not sure if there's a 4th and I also know they aren't scary but oh we'll)

At the end of the film Lottie was still hugging me, shaking with fear.

This had to be the moment I saw one of Kyle's friends.

"Hey Brandon, did Kyle dump Lottie so you decided to swing right in and grab her. We always knew you fancied her" Logan Jackson said.

He hated me so he always made up lies but unfortunately for me this wasn't a lie.

I really had fancied Lottie in year 7 but I didn't have feelings for her anymore when I lay eyes on Emily for the first time.

Logan walked off and Lottie stared at me still shaking in my arms.

"So did you" she asked me.

"Yes I did, but it was in year 7 before you dated Kyle and before I met Emily" I told her.

She dropped the topic and we drove back to the house after getting a krushem from KFC.

"Should we tell Kyle and Em about your little crush" Lottie asked me.

"Yh but let me tell them in my own time. I will do it soon I promise" I replied.

"Sure" came her reply.

Lottie's POV

Brandon told them that night and they both took it really well.

It was now Christmas Eve and I was excited to see Kyle's face when he opened my present.

We were both laid in bed and he was kissing me.

He climbed on top of me so he was straddling me and then he kissed me.

I kissed back passionately and it turned into us making out.
