6 - The Day After - Emily

--Emily's P.O.V.--

The next day on the bus, I told Brandon exactly what had been said and he just laughed at everything.

"Girls are so touchy." Kyle said.

"Hey!" I said, slapping his arm.

Charlotte gave me a death glare as I did so.

She wasn't at the bus stop this morning, though I had no idea why.

Maybe she walked down the colliery?

Yeah, that'd be it.

Strangely enough, Lottie and Kyle weren't kissing or sucking each others faces off... Just holding hands.

I wonder if they had an argument and are still working things out.

I turned away from them to talk to Lou and Maddie, who were sat in front of us.

Remember, Lou is Louise and Maddie is Madison.

Just making sure. :)

"We've got double P.E. first." I sighed to Louise.

"Lucky you Maddie, you have yours this afternoon. We have to suffer for the rest of the day after periods one and two."

"I'd rather not have P.E. at all." Louise sighed.

"I second that." I agreed.

"Same here." Madison chimed in.

I could hear Charlotte and Kyle whispering things like "You should." and "Go on, mate." To which Brandon was replying with "I don't know how." or "I'm not sure, let me think."

I wondered what they were talking about.

The bus came to a jolted halt in the bus bays; everyone squeezed past and hurried to get into school, though I have no idea why they would want to.

I was squished between Louise and Brandon, being in a rather uncomfortably awkward position.

"Sorry." Brandon whispered, as he was shoved into the back of me.

"Stop pushing man!" People in front of us screamed.

"Calm your tits bitches, it's not our fault some people behind push us." I yell! back.

People behind me chuckled as I stuck my finger up at whoever was throwing an insult at my face.

The bell rang straight away.

Oh shoot, I had assembly.

During double P.E. I got two friction burns; during MFL my pen broke; during English, my spare pen broke; and finally during Maths, nothing happened! Phew.

The bus had just arrived at the bus bay to take us all home and I started to push my way through everyone to get a good seat.

"Emily wait!" I heard someone say, whoever it was, grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the way. I was about to yell at this person until I realise who it was.

"What's up Brandon?" I asked.

"I... I'd like to urghh... Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked really quickly.

It's lucky I was listening properly, because if not, I probably would have missed every word that escaped his mouth.

I smile spread across my face as he looked away in embarrassment.

"I'd love to be." I replied.

"Really?" He asked, surprised by my answer.

I pulled him into a quick, yet passionate kiss before saying, "Does that answer your question?"

He grins at me before taking my hand and climbing onto the bus.

I turn round to tell Charlotte but she was back to sucking Kyle's face off.

This must've been why they weren't kissing they'd been organising this.

I do love Lottie sometimes.

Hopefully me and Megan are playing out tomorrow so after we can write. Thought I'd say this now, on either Wednesday or Thursday I'm going to visit my nana and grandad at their caravan so I don't know wether they will have Internet. It's a long drive so I will write some and ill upload it when I get home.
