"Come on Sunshine!" he yelled over the roaring waves, "We don't have all day,"

I looked up at him standing on top of  a giant rock as the water sprayed his white t-shirt causing it to stick to his defined muscles. I saw his lips moving, but it was like his words never made it to my ears. He was seriously perfection. From his dark brown hair that was perfectly messed up to make him have that "I woke up like this" look, to his contagious smile that showed off his dimples.

I was a sucker for dimples.

He was the picture of my dreams, and somehow he was mine.

I didn't even notice I had stopped moving and frozen in the middle of the sand checking him out with my mouth gaping open. Practically drooling.

Then just as I was about to look at the prized biceps being quarterback had given him a splash of ice cold water hit my face causing me to stumble back and fall on my butt. I felt a scowl replace my previous look of awe as I stared up at the person responsible.

Jason just stood laughing his ass off as I just laid on the rough sand feeling it seep into the shorts I had  spent an hour scavenging  for this morning. I glared at him and tried to keep the soft smile off my lips as I watched his blue eyes light up. He was going to pay.

I picked myself off the ground pulling my now drenched curls out of my eyes as I did.

"You know Sunshine, if I'm so much of a sex god that you can always just tell me instead of trying to hide your obvious awe," He started contorting himself into different positions to show off he muscles that rippled through his shirt, and I felt heat rise up my cheeks.

This boy was going to be the death of me.

"Sure keep telling yourself that," I retorted keeping my vision away from him, I didn't need another five minute stare down. It wasn't the best way to prove my point.

"I will," He chuckled and made me swoon again with his dimples, those freaking dimples. "Hey why don't you come up here," he yelled patting the spot right next to him on the slab of rock,"You can get a better view of this," he motioned to himself and I couldn't help but smile.

I slipped my old ratty flip flops I had dug out of my closet this morning off and threw them behind me. I took a hesitant step into the water feeling my entire body shake from the cold.

Was this really worth it? I though to myself as I took more cautious steps trying to hide the shivers that went through my body.

When the water was up to my knees I looked up to see him grinning from ear to ear.

It was totally worth it.

As I approached the 3 foot rock a sense of anxiety rushed through me. How was I suppose to get from down here to up there.

I couldn't even climb the rope in Gym. I took a breath and closed my eyes trying to stop the panic attack to set in.

I picked my arm up and place  it on what looked like a stable imperfection in the wall of solid rock that I had the pleasure of climbing.

"Hey! need any help there?" I saw Jason looking at me with his eyebrows raised as I attempted the epic 2 foot climb.

I didn't answer and just continued placing my feet on any sort of support I could find.

"Come on Soph, let me help," he wined like a five year old as I heaved my entire body up onto the next level.

As I was about to grab the last piece of stone the jutted out of the main rock when suddenly I felt my left foot start to slip.
