That night the stars were shining brightly as I worked carefully on a dress well Mabel played around the shop. The shop door swung open to reveal a familiar raccoon. A smile crossed my lips as I looked up from my work. “Hello Tom.” He smiled and approached my little workspace.

“You’re sewing skills sure have improved, hm.”

“I suppose they have, though I am still far behind the work of my mother.” I finished sewing the last seam then pulled the dress out at arms length to examine my work, As I did so the clock caught my eye. “My it is very late, I better get Mabel to bed.” He looked from the clock to the work surrounding me. “I’ll Take her up well you clean up hm.” I grinned and watched as little Mable followed him up the stairs.

Tom Nook smiled, but it quickly faded. “What’s wrong?” I questioned noting his odd behavior.

“This town isn’t big enough for me and my vision, hm?”
