"BEEP,BEEP,BEEP,BEEP" Erika's alarm went off the next morning. Erika didn't want to go to school as her eyes were swollen shut from crying about the what had happened the last night. Erika's mom Juli told her to "walk to school and don't come back!"
She didn't understand so Erika ran to school for Joey's comfort but when she went to hug him he squeezed her as hard as he could and said he needed to talk to her so he pulled her aside of the Hall's and said "My dad found out about us." Joey's dad is against him dating until he's 16. "What are you saying? Are you breaking up with me?" Said Erika. "Joey please don't do this my mom just kicked me out of MY HOUSE and know your breaking up with me I don't even have a place to stay.
Erika was crying so hard she ran to the bathroom to find her friends fixing there hair. She ran towards her best friend Shelby who pushed her away as she tried to give Shelby a hug.
Shelby said to Erika "We heard what happened and were are not going to be friends with someone like that." Erika had no idea what they are talking about so she ran out and everybody was looking at her and laughing, she ran to her locker got her stuff and ran home as fast as she could cause her mom and dad were both at work so when she had left the school campus she was crossing the street and a speeding drunk driver came ramming in to Erika who was now laying on the ground crying and covered in blood.
She laid there for what felt like hours and hours but it had only been five minutes about. School was out and Joey saw her on the ground and ran towards her screaming and yelling for help, he pulled out his phone and called 9-1-1.
An ambulance arrived 10 minutes after Joey had called. They put Erika on a stretcher and rushed her to the hospital with Joey in the back with her.
