Heartbroken

~Kali's POV~

I was the new kid at school. I am just glad that it is a new year. I will have a better chance of getting to know people. But I got ready for bed an slipped on a T-shirt and some Nike shorts. I fell asleep almost instantly. I woke up and got a good sleep. It was around 5:30 so hoped on the shower and washed my hair and body. One I was finished I dried off and put on a robe as u dried my hair I heard my mother and father getting up for work. Once I was finished with my hair I put it up in a ponytail and curled it, twisted my bangs and pinned them back. After that I slipped on a camo T-shirt and slipped on some Sperry's and walked to school. I didn't live to far. Just five minutes away. I walked with my neighbor, ( a popular student at school, her name was Alexis, ) she old me about everyone that she knew. We left by 7:30 because she was a cheerleader and has to get to school early. But I didn't mind. One we walked into the school an we sat in the lunchroom. I told Alexis how I liked archery am how I was captain of the archery team at my old school. She told me how sign ups for the archery team there were next week. I was so excited. But I went to the office to get my schedule it turns out first period was free period. So a nice lady in the office showed me around school. She told me that during my free period tomorrow I could talk with the coach about the archery team sign ups. I had to use a different type of vow so it was a little harder to shoot with. But the coach helped me a little bit. Then it was around lunch and I was already one of the most popular girls in school. At around 7th period I was tapped on the shoulder by a boy sitting behind me. It was science class and all we do in that class is watch a couple movies and do very few experiments, but the teacher was asleep during today's movie. The boy gave me a piece if ripped paper with his number on it and it said for me to txt him. And after school he caught up with me and asked for my name. I told him my name was Kali, he said that that was his mothers name. I told him that was sweet and I asked for his name, he said his name was Rupert, but everyone else just called him Stiles because it was easier. I agreed. But as we walked back to my house, he told me how he was the captain of the football team, he asked me to come to all of his games because he made me his good luck charm. I said I'll try is a teasingly way. We both giggled and laughed for a minute. Within minutes we were at my house. As I walked in we said our goodbyes and I texted him within 20 minutes. Nothing really happened after that. Later on that night I got a txt from my other friend Lucy and asked me if I wanted to have a sleepover at her house. I said yeah, I asked my parents and I was packing within 10 minutes after I got the txt. I was packed ad ready to go. I left an walked to her house. She lived at the end of the street, but it was still creepy. I had to go the back way. So it was a lot scarier. I heard footsteps following behind me, I turned around to see nothing there, I kept walking and heard it again, but this time I saw a pair of eyes; but they weren't you regular pair of eyes, these were bright red! I screamed for help as the animal with the creepy eyes bit my side! I screamed in pain! But got up and ran back home! I texted Lucy and told her I couldn't come. But the next day I went I the hospital and asked about the bite. They said that it was a werewolf bite. I flinched on pain when the doctor pulled my skin making the holes from the teeth bigger. He grabbed a pair of long surgical scissors and reached in one of the teeth marks and pulled out tooth from the wolf. He took it to another room for examination and came back saying that it was an aplha that bit me. I was so shared and was afraid that I was going to die from the bite. The docter made me sign some papers and he said that I could go after that. I went home and Alexis and Stiles texted me asking why I wasn't at school. I too them is was sick. I lied. I came to school the next day with aching pain. No one noticed it until Stiles saw me squinching in pain. He asked if I was alright. I said that I was fine. But I wasn't, I felt light headed all if the sudden. I turned around and told stiles to meet me in the hallway. He didn't question it. He said okay and walked me out. I told him what really happened and he promised not to tell anyone. He told me that his friend Blake had experienced some like that before and I gave him a confused look.

He told me that Blake got better at everything and could hear, see, smell, and do everything better than he used to. Then my eyes rolled into the back of my head and I fainted, right away stiles caught me and cried me to his car and took me I Blake's house and Blake woke me somehow and told me everything that was going to happen. And then it all made since. The next day I came to school and I figured out that Blake was every single one of my classes at school. And I never noticed it. But after that Blake stiles and Lucy were the only people that I really hung out with. And during all of this I had never though to practice my archery. My tryouts were tomorrow and I had not practiced at all. The night went on I slept good and did everything the same but today I decided to put my hair up in a bun where it would not fall down until I took it down. But it was he day of tryouts the school went on and nothing really happened. Just the same everyday routine.

It was time for tryouts. Everything went well and everybody was a little of the center of their targets at first. But then it was my turn, I went up to the line we were supposed to stand behind to shoot. I made it in the dead center every time. My coach was impressed and made me captain. Everybody was so happy for me. But as we were leaving practice. I could tell that Blake was there. I could smell him. I waked outside and there he was. He wanted to talk to me and tell me who bit me. He said the he thought that he figured it out. It turned out, he did. We got into his car and it was a silent car ride. But after a few minutes we arrived at an old and abandoned skyscraper. In the middle of Alabama. Really? I thought. We got out and walked inside and I saw a big buff guy around my age( which was around 17 ) but he turned around and looked at me with a smirk on his face. I laughed and he said so you'd the pretty little dot that I bit last week. I walked up to him and asked why. He just said that's the first thing that you ask? He said sarcastically. What about my name. He said. I swear I wanted to punch him in the face so bad. But I didn't want to. So I asked for his name and he told me his name was Spencer. He said "Yours?" I told him Kali.
