Sarah ran over to where Delaney was and there was a huge hole in the floor and she yelled down it to ask if Delaney was ok. "Are you ok Ivy?" Sarah said. "Yeah I'm fine but it's weird down here. It's like, a house or something. Oh here's a light switch." Sarah saw the hole light up and saw Delaney at the bottom looking up at her. "I think I see some stairs!" said Sarah "I'm coming down!" There was a narrow flight of steps looping in a spiral down the sides of the pit towards the bottom to a ladder that extended down from the stairs but Delaney was far out of reach from it. Sarah carefully went down the stairs, trying not to look down. It was a high fall and she thought Delaney would be hurt from that fall. She got to the bottom of the stairs and pushed the ladder down so she could climb down. When she got to the bottom, she looked around. "This is so weird!" Said Sarah. "I know" said Delaney. It was a small circular room with a couch and a table. That was it except from a half finished game of checkers laying scattered on the floor. There were three dark tunnels throughout the edges of the room dig out of the walls leading who knows where. "Who's there?" Said a hoarse voice. It was coming from one of the tunnels. Sarah looked around frantically and Delaney looked at her almost as if to say what do we do now? Sarah was in a panic. "I said who's there!" The voice came again, angrier this time. Sarah froze. They were trapped.....
