Slamming his hands on the polished wooden table, the session began on this Thursday afternoon.

"Okay team! The Train-Phoenix-Before-Friday-To-Be-A-Host, or T.P.B.F.T.B.A.H operation now begins!" Kai enthused. We all sat in the old music room on the soft beige couches. It was going to be around ten minutes until guests were meant to arrive. I raised my hand, with Kai answering with a "Yes Phoenix?"

"Kai, why such a long name?" I inquire. Kai simply looks at me. He rolls his eyes, and points his gaze to Greg. "Well, since SOMEONE doesn't appreciate humor, we had to go with that," he glares at Greg, giving him a I'm-Going-To-Murder-You look. Greg responsively stares back. "Kai, the title 'Phoenix's Take Off Operation' isn't the best. Puns aren't our priority." He admits. "We want to welcome him, not humiliate," That comment comes from Tynan. Looking down at his clipboard in his hands, he continues to scribble away.

Kai sighs, but then continues to explain his miraculous plan. "Since we have two hours, each appointment taking only half an hour, Phoenix will spend twenty minutes with each of us. The order will be," -he said while pointing to whom he mentioned- "Eren, Phillip, Roy and Tynan, Greg then me. The last twenty will be a surprise. Okay guys, let's get ready!" With a clap of his hands, we get to setting up the room. I was assigned with putting the flowers in the table vases. Easy. But where are the flowers? I decide to ask Kai this, since he is (and to my surprise) the club president.

"Hey Kai,"

"Hrmp?" He takes a break from his own orange clipboard and focuses on me. "Yeah Phoenix?"

"Where are the flowers?"

"On the counter over there," he shows me with his pen the counter. He then goes back to organising whatever he needs to. On the table is a bouquet of red roses. Casually, I walk over and pick them. Up close they look so much more beautiful. Carefully I pull back the plastic encasing them, and begin to walk around placing the roses in the vases. Each vase is small, glass and elaborately designed differently. On one I saw swirls and sea creatures, another depicted a forest of sweets and pastries. All shown in glass. "I'm assuming you quite like them,"

"Eek!" I hadn't noticed the figure standing behind me, as I was gazing at the final vase which showed a wedding. I spin around to see that it was Phillip who scared me. "Phillip!" I bicker holing the last rose. Smiling he plucks it out of my grasp. "Settle petal, just wanna take a looksie," he smirks. I pout attempting to snatch it from him. Keeping me at bay he analysis it, looking at it from all angles. "So, this'll be yours soon,"

Eh?

"What do you mean mine?" I ask him.

Phillip blinks at me, then grins. Ruffling my hair he hands me back the rose, replying "You'll find out tomorrow night,"

Tomorrow night. The party. Last night I was tossing and turning as my stomach was churning. I would have to seduce a bunch of girls I have never spoken with all because of a promise. I look down at the rose in my trembling hands, sighing. "Might as well,"

Suddenly, Kai's voice echoed through the room. "Hey! It's opening time boys!" He called flailing his arms around as a signal to come. We all make our way over to open the doors together. Well, everyone except me. Because I wasn't an official host yet, I just stood to the side awkwardly.

Yet, then I noticed something. Just before they opened the doors, they all pulled out from their pockets a small rose pin and pinned it on the blazer collar. Each pin matched the color of the rose they held on my first day at the club. I wonder what they are for...

Swinging the doors wide open, the guests flooded in. I counted around thirty girls, all for the first appointment. That means each of them will get five girls to tend to each, if its even that is. Now thinking about it, what were their host types? Last night, due to curiosity, I had done some research on them. The most common ones were: The Prince, The Lolita (A cute, small boy), The Devil (a mischievous boy), The Cool and the Shy. I can tell we already have a couple of these here. The only thing was during my research, I found out information I didn't like at all.

Hosts, they seduce girls into night host clubs. At least that's what most do. The breakdown is that they target rich girls and make them pay money for each hour and bottles of red wine. At some you can waste $1000 in one night. I've checked the prices at our club, and they aren't too expensive. Only around ten dollars per appointment, and half of the money goes to charity, the other half going to keep the club going. At least, that's what Tynan has told me...

How on earth was my cousin a founding member of this club?

"Hey Phoenix, come on," I feel a tug on my blue blazer, looking up to see it was Eren. On right, I'm with him. Trailing behind him, we walk over to a table with several girls around it, three to be exact. One with shimmering evergreen hair calls "Eren! Hello!" A gleeful blush appeared across her face. She's in my class, Lynette I think was her name? Smiling warmly, Eren gives a wave back. Unlike how he treated me before, he pulled out my chair for me. Wanting to make a good impression on the girls I graciously sit down in the chair.
