Ellie

"Come on, Ellie. We'll be late if you don't hurry!" My best friend Lana yelled to me from the living room.

I'd just woke up, and she was ALREADY nagging me. Lana's my best friend, but she kinda gets on my nerves. She and I are both Harry girls when it comes to our favorite band, One Direction. This gets in the way quite a bit.

"I'm up! Give a girl some time!" I yelled back to Lana. I got up out of bed unwillingly and opened the curtains. It was a terrible day for a meet and greet, thunder storming and windy.

I hopped in the shower and quickly soaped myself up, rinsed off the soap, then got out. I hooked my phone up to the speaker system I had in my room. I put on some screamo music by a band called Falling In Reverse.

I pulled out a pair of skinny jeans, a black and white tribal print top and some socks. I jumped into the denim jeans with a bit of a struggle, then slipped on the top. I put the socks on, then dug out my heels that looked like high tops, which were black and blue.

"You almost ready?!? It's almost noon!" Lana said as she walked into my room without knocking.

"Wow, thanks for knocking," I sighed as she took a seat on the couch. "I just have to dry my hair and put on a jacket, Lana. Calm down, for God's sake!" I finished.

Walking into my bathroom, Lana looked at me in disbelief. "You're wearing THAT to a One Direction meet and greet?" She asked with her jaw dropped.

"Why, is there a problem?" I replied a bit too harshly. She is my best friend, though...

"Jeez Louise! Calm down! I was just saying... I mean, I'm wearing all my One Direction stuff, so I was just wondering!" Lana said, obviously catching all the rudeness in my tone.

Lana was wearing some skinny jeans with a shirt that said 'team Harry' and a pair of Toms, one with the British flag, one with the Irish. Not to mention her bracelets, CDs, and tote.

I put on some simple makeup, mascara, eyeliner, and a soft pink lipstick. I combed through my shoulder length brown hair, then placed a beanie on my head. I walked out of my bathroom and put on my Ed Sheeran hoodie which was black with his name and the album's name, no pictures of him or anything.

"Let's go, traffic's gonna be terrible with all the rain and fans." Lana stated as I grabbed two umbrellas. I nodded and handed Lana an umbrella.

I unlocked the car before we left the house so we could get to the car without waiting. Lana dashed to the passenger seat and quickly closed the door behind her. I made sure all the lights were off, then closed the door and locked it behind me. Then I remembered my phone. I quickly ran inside to get it. Now I'm set.

I ran out to the drivers seat, buckled, and turned the key in the ignition. The rain was coming down harder than it had been before, and the trees were swaying in the wind.

The rain was louder than the radio, so I turned it off. "I hope we're the last people in the meet and greet line, the boys always talk to the last fans for the longest." I said, breaking the silence between Lana and I.

"Yeah but that means more waiting, Ellie." Lana complained.

"But it'll be worth it. You'll thank me for this." I said. I really had to start paying attention now, we were on the interstate and I had to keep an eye out for our exit, though we shouldn't be there any time soon, since there was so much traffic.

When we pulled into the parking lot of the mall, there were mobs and mobs of fans, so many that they were uncountable.

"I can't believe we're here! I can't wait to meet them!" Lana shrieked.

"I know, me either! Lets get inside, it's only gonna rain harder," I replied.

"Ellie, I love your accent. I'd kill to have it." Lana said in awe.

"Oh, thank you. I find it rather boring though." I said as we walked through the entrance to the mall.

"I've gotta go to the bathroom, I'll meet up with you." Lana informs me as she walks off to the nearest bathroom.

I work on finding the way to the meet and greet, which was quite easy, considering that there were so many fans. The boys had already finished singing and were now headed over to the tables where they would sign everything.
