 *Miya's POV*

"Ok you're all finished, everything looks good," the dentist told me as he moved his hands away from my face.

 "Alright thanks!" I beamed a smile up at him.

"You're welcome," he smiled at me and lead me to the front desk, where the secretary for my name and address. "Miya Evans."

 "Address?" "Uh... 3179 South Carousel Lane, Beacon Hills, California.."

The secretary looked at me in shock. "Why so far from home?"

 "Uh.. Long story. No time to explain. It's getting dark, I should get going."

"Oh yeah, of course," I handed her dads credit card and prayed it would work. It did. Thank god. I was panicking as she set down a bunch of papers for me to sign.

 I didn't go to the dentist in Beacon Hills because of chase. He's the dentist there and also my ex. And he would probably rip some teeth out of my mouth if he could.

I had to hurry out of LA because the guys would flip on me if they found out I was here for such a stupid reason. This was the last place the alpha pack was spotted, and so far they haven't left. I mean yes, I'm a werewolf, but I'm not as experienced as the guys are. I gave the secretary the signed papers, thanked her and left.

As I was fumbling with my keys to unlock my car, I dropped them on the ground. Just my luck. "Shit," I mumbled as I bent down to find them. I patted the ground and couldn't find them. I decided to pat under my car and pulled my phone out and turned on the flash light app. I screamed as I saw what was under my car.

 It was blood. Human blood. With the human still attached.

How I missed it before I have no idea at all. I saw my keys and I snatched them up off the ground. I got in my car and speed off.

The next thing I needed was to be caught at another crime scene. Especially here.

It took about an hour and a half of speeding to Beacon Hills until I saw the ‘welcome to Beacon hills sign’ and slowed down.

I made my way through town and to my neighborhood, as I saw my drive way come into view. I also noticed Stiles’ jeep was there as well. I sensed Scott was here and I wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad thing. I parked next to Stiles and sat there thinking.

If I didn’t tell Derek, I would be bitched at. If I did tell Derek I would be bitched at. It’s a lose, lose situation.

By the time I had gotten out of the car, I had made up my mind. I would call Derek and tell him and Isaac to come over.

I noticed my moms car in front of Stiles’ jeep so she was already home for some reason.

As I walked in the door I thought I smelled cookies and my suspisons were right as I was then pelted with cookies by a grinning Scott and Stiles.

They saw my face and automatically dropped the cookies.

“Everything ok?” Scott asked.

“Just peachy,” I said look back and fourth between him and my mom, he got the clue.

“Oh come on Miya! Don’t be a sourwolf! That’s dereks job!” Stiles said. I just glared at him.

“Miya I made you cookies but the boys ruined them all,” my mom called out from the kitchen.

“Sorry mrs. Evans!” they called out with huge grins on their faces.

She came out and grabbed her purse, she must have night shift tonight. I threw Stiles’ keys at him which were in my key spot on the key hook, so he could go move his car for my mom.

She kissed the top of my head and said bye, but I stopped her before she could leave. “what time will dad be home?”

“Not until morning, Mr. Stilinski has him working the night shift tonight,” Stiles’ dad and my dad worked together along with my mom and Scotts mom at the hospital, which is how we all met, “so if you want to, the boys can stay over tonight, BUT. They sleep in the couch or in the spare room. No sex! I don’t want any babies running around here,” Scott and Stiles burst in to laughter and I felt my face turn super red.

“Mom! All I asked was what time dad was coming home geez! I’ll call Allison or something!”

“Ok sweet heart, see you in the morning,” she beamed, her and Stiles left and I could hear Stiles laughing the whole time.

After my mom drove off and stiles came back inside, Scott asked what was wrong.

 "Well it's a long story, but Derek and Isaac need to be here, even though Isaac barely knows me, just call them. I'm going to go shower," they looked confused as I walked away but I heard them call Derek.

 I walked up to my room and grabbed pajama pants and a tee shirt. I went into my bathroom and started the water. I got out of the shower ten minutes later. After I dressed, I opened the door and it was pitch black in the room since the lights were all off. I bumped into a tall figure.

 As my eyes adjusted I realized it was Isaac. "Isaac."

"Miya," he stepped out of my way as I put my towel on my bed and walked down stairs. Why was he even in my room? He barely knows me. What was he doing?

As I walked down stairs I saw stiles with his back turned towards me and I couldn't pass up such an amazing opportunity, so I jumped in his back from four steps away, causing us both to fall over onto the floor in laughter.

"Ahem," I looked up to see Derek frowning with his arms crossed over his chest, "you asked for us to come for a reason. Now what's the 'emergency'?" He asked with the air quotes.

 Scott helped me up from the ground and I gestured for them all to sit on the couch. Isaac hesitated but be ended up sitting down looking more out of place than I've ever seen anybody be.

I made eye contact with every one of them my eyes lingering on Isaac for a brief moment but I looked away when he didn't and blushed slightly. "Ok, well I'll just sum it up for you. I found a body in LA today."
