~Miya's POV~        

All of a sudden everything around me stopped and my heart was pounding. I had to be dreaming. This wasn't possible.

"Miya? Are you there?" The person on the phone asked.

"D-Derek?"

"Miya. Where are you?"

"How are you even talking to me right now?" I asked him "you're supposed to be dead," I said. Everything around me was still frozen all that mattered was that the person I thought I could possibly have a chance with was alive and he was in the phone.

"I don't know. I woke up on the side of the road. But it isn't important. Miya where are you guys? I went to all of your houses and you were gone," I think I know why my stomach was burning.

"We had to go on that cross country trip for the team," I told him as things slowly started flooding back to me and my stomach was burning again I winced and I saw six out of seven faces in front of mine. No Isaac shocker.

"Miya, when will you be back in beacon hills?" He asked worriedly.

"I don't know, hang on I'll ask. Scott, when are we going back?" I asked.

"Tomorrow. Well today. But is that really Derek?" He asked. I nodded.

"Today, why?" I asked Derek. My heart was racing at a million beats per minute.

"Miya, I'm still injured. I need you," tears threatened to fall on my face but I held them back. I never thought Derek Hale would say those words to me. "Miya. When you get back you need to come to the Hale house immediately. That teacher with the brown hair-" I cut him off.

"Ms. Blake?"

"Yeah her. She tried to convince me you were dead and then tried to sleep with me. I didn't let her of course, but i need you and I need you fast."

"Well I don't know how much longer I can bare this pain in my stomach and if it's acting how it is now, then I might not make it to you in time," I said to him.

"What do you mean pain in your stomach?" He asked.

"Well I woke up screaming my lungs out because there's this odd burning sensation in my stomach," I told him. The others were all asking me questions but I ignored them.

"Where is it?" He asked.

"Um, the right side of my abdomen like right by my ribs why?" I asked beginning to worry.

"Uh, nothing. Don't worry about it. I have to go at the moment, and you need to get some sleep, call me when you get back in Beacon Hills," he said.

"Uh yeah sure," I told him.

"Oh and Miya? One more thing."

"Yeah?"

"I love you," and then he hung up the phone and my heart started beating fast again. Did I imagine that or did he really just tell me he loved me?
