It was hard leaving him, the walk back to the hospital almost broke her. Almost. But she kept her head up, even though tears pricked her eyes, she kept her head up. Eventually, she did make it back to the hospital, and to the basement. She placed her hand in her pocket and pulled out her sonic screwdriver. She pointed it at the wall and it made a soft buzzing sound, and the light shined a pale purple. Out of no where, a wooden phone booth appeared.
A smile crossed her lips, for the first time in hours, she walked towards it, opened the door, and stepped inside. Her TARDIS really changed, she had noticed as she closed the door behind her. The spires that were once wood like, were now coral in texture, and varying shades of blue. The grating beneath her feet was black metal, and covered the entire floor, to her left were stairs that led down a floor, and to another part of the time rotar. The time rotar hadn't changed much, it was still blue, and it had a pump like thing inside of it. The console was more modern looking, silver sleek metal, and buttons that actually looked like they had a purpose. The walls and ceiling were a pale brown, bordering on orange, in colour, and had small octangular port holes around it. Even the jumpseat was more modern looking, it was leather, and white, and it looked very soft, just beyond that, was a doorway, leading into the heart of the TARDIS, and to the rooms she had. On the bulk head, had a few rooms, written in Gallifreyan.
Raine smiled softly as she walked towards the console and placed a hand on it. Beneath her hand her TARDIS hummed in excitement, and the rotar glowed. A laugh escaped her lips as she smiled.
"Alright, let's go anywhere, just get us out of here, yeah?" Raine said as she pressed a few buttons.
Beneath her hands, her TARDIS hummed, louder than it should, as they vanished from the hospital, to go on the next adventure, the next journey.

A/N: I'm baaaaaaaaaaacckk!!!!!! :D
Sorry for the long break between everything, my life has just taken a different turn. I became an aunt, I've got a great job, and I'm going to be traveling here in the next year. As for this story... I just hadn't exactly had the time to work on the sequel. Right now, it's just choppy bits and pieces, I'm not sure where I'm going with it, or what it's main focus is going to be. So, until then, here's a little side story with Raine, hopefully it will keep you all happy until I post the sequel. Any title suggestions for the sequel???
Much Love,

A/N 2: Alright, hi. If you didn't notice, there's this little Time Counter at the end of the chapter, it's there to keep track of how much time has passed since she last saw the Doctor. It's done like this to show the time progression for Raine as she goes on her journey. Yes, she will end up being older than the Doctor when they meet again. The Counter is also there to help you keep track of where Raine is in her life. I hope you're able to keep up with the Time Counter, as it's only propose is to keep track of time.
Enjoy!
