My name is the Ghost, and five-hundred years ago, I met this man and stopped a war. But then I left him, in confusion and distraught, and I've been alone and running ever since. But today was the day things were going to change. All because of another war, a couple, and a very broken heart.
-*- Running Away -*-
She was being reckless. Running through the blasted city with an Andeline following her. Middle of a war and his damn girlfriend gets captured, she didn't even mean to land in this damn time period, her TARDIS just hates her. Anyway, now Raine was running around a war torn city with Tree, yes, Tree. His name was Tree. They were dodging bullets and such as they made their way to a rather large building. It was odd, normally the Andeline were peaceful people, but according to what Tree had said, one of the neighboring countries were tired of their peaceful ways and wanted their land. Unbeknownst to them, the Andeline had their own army, it was small, but they were winning so far.
When Raine landed, she was taken captive be the Andeline and questioned until she could prove who she was. It was a good thing they were a slightly psychic, they were able to see the truth and let her go. Then Tree took an intrest in her, asked if she could help him rescue his girlfriend who was taken by the Gurnites. The Gurnites had more physical strength than the Andeline, they were taller and buffer and mainly focused on battle strategies and building machines. The Andeline were smart, and economically friendly and they didn't really do anything that surrounded war, but they did have an army, just in case.
"Do you think we'll be able to find her?" Tree asked as they stepped inside the building.
Raine looked back at him, brown hair falling loose from it's ponytail, and her grey eyes were hard with determination. "Of course we are, she's innocent, isn't she? And maybe, while were at it, I can stop this war."
Tree blinked at the fire behind her eyes, her jaw was set in determination, and she stood with an aura of power and strength. He have a small nod, "Alright, Ghost, I'll follow you there."
She paused for a second and looked at his deep green eyes, he would follow her anywhere, just to save his country. "No," she said. "Once we get your girlfriend, you and her need to get of here. I'll handle the rest."
She then turned and walked along the wall, pulling her sonic from her pocket. Tree shook his head, his dark brown locks falling in front of his face before he followed her, closely.
Raine peered around a corner and was shocked to not see soldiers walking down the hall. Pulling her dark jean jacket closer, she continued down the hall, senses heightened, and super aware. Instinctively, her hand reached out for Trees and he grabbed it. Hand in hand, they made their way through the building, skidding and ducking into alcoves when a Gurnite happened by. Eventually, they made it to the holding cells, there were a few Andeline in them, and Raine paused. She couldn't just save one of them, she'd have to save them all.
Tree let go of her hand and ran to the cells and whispered out, "Raye? Raye? Where are you?"
Raine walked towards the cells and looked around, crap, one camera. She pointed her sonic at it and it fizzled out. She turned and looked at Tree. "We have about ten minutes before someone comes down this way. We need to find her, and fast."
He nodded as he moved to another cell, calling out her name. Raine walked to a cell and looked inside. Several Andeline were in there, a sad look crossed her face as she whispered out, "I'll get you all out of here, I promise. Just trust me."
"Ghost! I found her!"
Raine turned and jogged over to where Tree was, his hand was in between a set of bars holding a hand. She peered inside and saw a young woman with dirt covered ivory skin, wide blue eyes and mud-coated blonde hair.
