Chapter 11

(Hinata)

I stand there shocked, eyes wide. Then I squeal loudly and try not to faint.

Kurama.just.kissed.me!!!!

I bring my hands to my burning hot face.

I finally snap out of it and smile gently, as I turn to the direction of the gates. 'Good luck.....Naruto.....'

(Naruto) My mask back on my face, I run to where my team and client are. Tazuna gives me a funny look. "What's with the mask?"

Oh, right, forgot to wear it first time we talked.

"Let's go" I say calmly. He looked irritated at not being replied to, but sucks it up.

Then, as we set off, I realise. Someone.... Or someoneS following us..... I best be on my guard...

(A little later)

We walk past a puddle. I stare at it dubiously. A puddle... In summer?

I notice kakashi giving it a glance too. Hmm...

A little after we pass it, spiked chains wrap around sensei. Before any of us can blink, he is torn to shreds.

Sakura screams and Sasuke flinches, but I don't even blink. If he couldn't sense that attack, he's pathetic and better off dead.

I jump into action, grabbing my sword and running at one. Out of the corner of my eye I see Sasuke fighting the other one.

He draws a long kunai, and slashes. I deflect if, and dodge another slash.

I slash across his stomach, making blood splatter everywhere.

My hair starts to turn red as I call apon foxy chakra, my blade shimmering with visible black chakra.

The man throws several loosened shuriken at me, then dives in and aims for my head with his kunai.

I dodge the weapons and impale him with my sword. He drops to the floor, and I crouch down and check for a pulse. Nothing.

I charge foxy chakra into my feet and dash towards the other one, who is about to behead Sasuke.

I cut his arm off. He screams in horror but I simply slice him in half.

I look around. Sasuke's eyes are wide, staring at me like those villagers do.

And sakura.... Looks genuinely afraid.... Of me.

Then kakashi appears, and even though he congratulates me, I know that i'm officially a monster to them all.

Kakashi looks at me, and I twitch. Kakashi....is scared.
