Ch.9 The Question Finally Answered

Dessa's POV

Its a nice Friday afternoon in  middle of October. Keke and Chresanto are still over. Its been 3 weeks since e slapped her.  Nae is still is avoiding Craig. She knows she is going to get back with him, but she feels the same pain when she found out about him cheating still. Since Keke and Nae broke up with them we call them Craig and Chresanto because we called them by there nicknames when we were cool. On top of that Keke, Nae and I were all going to celebrate 1 year with them. Princeton knows I would have snapped them both, but he kept distracting me every time I was about to.

Now that schools out for the day, I'm going to Princeton's house. He is hiding something from me and I am seriously getting frustrated. What if he cheated too? Questions popping kept in my head as he drove to his house. He kept looking at me as he drove. I looked a couple times, but turned back quickly. He has to tell me what's going on... TODAY.

Todays the day. I have to tell her what's going on. I know she is gonna hate me because I didn't tell her before. I love her and I cant believe my parents are making me do this! This isn't right and I should have a say in this, but I don't.

(at Princeton's house)

Dessa's POV

Princeton: ok bae my parents ain't home. So we can do what ever we want until 7.

Dessa: *sits on the couch and gets on phone*

Princeton: What's wrong now Dessa.

Dessa: I wanna know what your hiding Jacob Perez... NOW

Princeton: *gets off couch and goes to the kitchen*

Dessa: Wow Jacob. Really? I'm leaving. (gets phone and dials Bubba's number)

Princeton: Wait Dessa. Please End the call. I'll tell you.

Dessa: Ayye Bubba. Can you pick me up in like 15 mins? Aight. bye bew. *ends call* You got 20 minutes.

Princeton: Are you serious?

Dessa: 14 minutes now..

Princeton: Ok Ok. So you know I love you. ALOT, and I want us to last forever.

Dessa: Come on Perez spit it out.

Princeton: ok.. My parents are making me have an arranged marriage, and the day after graduation, I have to move to Mexico and live with this girl.

Dessa: what? *tears forming in her eyes*

Princeton: Now I know you probably thinking why didn't you tell me earlier and why won't you fight for us and---

Dessa: your damn right that's what I'm thinking Princeton! I know you have known this for awhile cause we have argued about you not telling me what's on your mind. On top of that, you probably didn't fight for us to your parents! Do you think our relationship isn't important enough to tell your parents about us!?!

Princeton: OF COURSE DESSA! But they don't even listen to what I have to say. It's like not even worth it like----

Dessa: so this relationship isn't worth it anymore?

Princeton: See now your jus putting words in my mouth!

Dessa: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT I'M PUTING WORDS IN YOUR MOUTH! YOU STOOD THERE AND JUST SAID THAT! You know what? Since this isn't worth it anymore, we're over. *Bubba honks the horn* and that's my cue to leave.

I grabbed my things and left, leaving with tears in my eyes. Last thing I heard was something smashing. I hopped in the car and Bubba pulled off. Bubba was telling me how she was going to meet up with Ray Ray, and she sees my tears drop on my leggings

Bubba: Oh My Gosh Dessa what happened?  

Dessa: Me and Princeton broke up. His parents are making him have an arranged married and he didn't fight for our relationship.

Bubba: HOW COULD HE! I THOUGHT HE WAS THE ONE FOR YOU! DO I HAVE TO U TURN!?!?

Dessa: No Bubba its done

Bubba: CAUSE I WILL TURN INTO A FEMALE MIKE TYSON. YOU ALREADY KNOW!

Dessa: Bubba please just calm down. I just want to go home.

We get home and the girls are playing twister! Even mama was playing! They all noticed my blood shot eyes and stopped the game. I told them what happened, and they were all shocked about what Princeton said.

Mama: See y'all got to many damn issues! Nae that ol bastard cheated, Keke that ol nigga slapped you, and Dessa that ol Mexican biotch said y'alls relationship wouldn't last!?! Rachel and Bubba still in there relationship, but who knows what ol playa playa Marqus is gonna do. Bubba, you and Jacob cuddle and hang, but when your not with him your with Ron Ron or who ever he is. I'm fine and all but these men around here just aren't at my level. Y'all should stay single like me.

Dessa: I'm gonna have to pass on dat one.

Bubba & Nae: SIKE

Keke: you serious?

Rachel: Ron Ron?! Seriously Mama its Ray Ray! ahahaha

Mama: Y'all go to bed! Bubba you are going out with RAY RAY tomorrow anyway

Everyone: OOOOOOOOOO

Rachel: I hope Jacob doesn't get jelly.

We walked upstairs and went to our rooms. I checked my phone, and Princeton blew my phone up! 33 missed calls, 18 text messages, and 25 voicemails! Gosh, I know he cares, but what he said early wasn't caring at all. What am I gonna do without him?
