Hi guyz! This is chapter one! I really hope you enjoy it!<3 <3

“Alicia!” My mother came rushing into my room. “Oh my god! What has gotten with you lately?”

I had my covers pulled over my head. My throat burned from screaming, and I was soaked with a mixture of sweat and tears. My fists were punching, and my legs were kicking. This caused my body to be covered in dark purple bruises. The truth was that I had no idea what was happening.  For the past two weeks, I had woken up screaming and crying.

“That’s it!” My mom’s face was filled with worry. “I’m taking you to see Dr. Krose.”

Oh, how I hated doctors. They never helped. All they could ever do was make me worry. My fingernails had been complete bitten off. I guess you could classify me as a worrier.

Dr. Krose was going to be the fourth doctor I’ve visited within the past two weeks. Every single one was unable to find anything wrong with me. No disorders or diseases have been found.

“Everything is going to be okay,” My mom sat down next to me.  She uncovered my face from my blankets, and put her arm around my back.

And with that, she left my room to make breakfast.

I pushed off of my weak arms, and stepped onto my wiggling feet. Tears were still dripping down my cheeks, but my eyes were empty of water. Hopefully, I’ll stop crying. I made my way over to my dresser to pick out an outfit for my day.

I slipped a pair of electric blue jean shorts on to my waist, and pulled a sky colored cami over my head. Dressing cheerfully could maybe make me feel better.

My iPhone was placed on my desk. Its blue sparkly case glimmered in the early morning sun seeping through my window. I picked it up, and brushed off the screen with my shirt. Clicking the white home button, my icons lit up the screen.

I began to check facebook and wattpad as I walked down the wooden stairs. The aroma of sweet syrup filled my nose, causing me to look up from the screen.

“Chocolate chip pancakes!” Mom chanted trying to cheer me up.

They were my favorite, and my dream was over, so I decided to smile, “Yummy!”

I ran down the second half of the stair case. My feet pounded, shaking each step.  I smacked my butt down on the kitchen stool, and let the plate of pure delish warm my face. I poured syrup all over it, and dug my fork into the soggy breakfast.

“Hey, wanna hangout?”

“Sorry Janie, I can’t ,” I began holding my iPhone next to my ear. “I’m in the car right now, headed to the doctors.”

“Again?” My best friend was annoyed. “How about afterward?”

“I don’t know…” I sighed.

“Please!”

“Okay, but it has to be after dinner. It’s about an hour car ride there, and who knows how long the appointment might take.”

“That’s cool with me. My place, 7 o’clock,” She paused then asked. “What are all these appointments for again?”

I sighed and twiddled with a strand of my dark brown hair, “My sleeping problem,”

“Oh, that’s right. Sorry, I’m just too sucked into summer to remember stuff.”

I forced a smile and stared out the window, watching bikers alongside the road, “Don’t be sorry Junie,”

Even though ‘Junie’ sounded little like her real name, it was my cute nickname for her. Janie loves summer more than anyone I know. She also has what you may call a ‘Summer Personality’ because she’s fun, athletic, and carefree.

“Okay, I got to go,” My mom pulled the car into a parking space next to the big cement medical building.

“See ya at seven, bye!”

“Bye!”I brought the electronic away from my face, and pressed the red ‘hang up button’.

My face began to droop; I hate doctors.
