Memory Lane (2NE1 & Big Bang)

5. Meeting

Bom was whistling to herself as she pushed her cart ahead in the grocery store. She looked at the free samples and wanted to try one but held back because she was trying to go on a diet.

"Bread, Jam, Bottled Water, Eggs, corn and.... Ah I forgot meat" she mumbled to herself and made her way to the meat section. 

After placing the meat in her basket, she was wandering around looking for somethings in her list which were still remaining. Just then some people bumped into her and she noticed a whole lot of school kids. They were buying all sorts of canned snacks and drinks. It seemed to be for a party.

"We're really sorry" apologised the girls who bumped into Bom.

"Oh its alright" said Bom. The girls bowed but Bom wasn't paying attention. She remembered when their gang had their own party.

The night Bom and Dara fought, Dara came home only by 2:00 AM. She crept into Bom's room and without making a sound took the spare blanket and raced to the outhouse. 

That day at school, the whole gang could notice a difference in the two friends. They could sense that there was some misunderstanding.

Bom and Dara had most of their classes together along with Seungri and Top. Instead of sitting next to Bom like she always did, Dara asked Seungri to switch places with her. Bom felt tears swelling up in her eyes. Top who noticed this sighed looking at her.

"What happen Noona?" asked Panda to Bom. "Nothing big" sniffed Bom shaking her head. Panda had questions but he chose not to ask. 

During the whole first half of school, the two friends were cold towards each other and this worried the others. During lunch, they all walked up to their usual table. Bom excused herself and went to the restroom.

"Dara, can you go and get my meds from my desk? I forget to bring it here" said YoungBae and Dara nodded and went to their Homeroom.

"Okay we quickly need to discuss things" said Chaerin "They absolutely have to make up again" 

"Thats right. Its obvious that even they are uncomfortable with the way things are now" spoke up Minzy.

Daesung nodded. "But what do we do?"

"They just need to talk their minds to each other. That'll solve the problem" said Chaerin,

"But how do we get them to do that?" asked Seungri. "Dara doesn't even want to be near Bom" said Ji Yong.

"We can fix that" said Top. "By doing what?"asked Young Bae.

"Lock them up in the girls locker room she  they change for PE" Said Top. "You can do that right?" he asked Minzy.

"Yeah but it won't be long before someone else comes in search of them and opens the door" she replied.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of that" said Chaerin. 

Just then both Bom and Dara returned and sat as far away from each other as possible. The other noticed this and rolled their eyes.

Bom and Dara were the last ones to change their clothes in the locker room thanks to Panda and Daesung who made them late. Unknown to these two, Minzy was locking the door from outside.

She went to the field and saw Top waiting for her. She winked and smiled. Top sighed in relief. 

Meanwhile, Chaerin was explaining to the teacher about how Dara and Bom ate at a horrible restaurant last night and both of them were having indigestion and were in the infirmary. Exaggerating the story here and there, she managed to convince the teacher and rushed to tell the others.
