Chapter 30: Tension

Andrea's POV: "Um of course not you guys adopted her for a reason". Kian says. "Great well me and Kian are going to spend some time together". I say breaking the tension.

"Yeah well it was nice meeting you". Kian says putting his hand out for a handshake. "You too". Nash says shaking it. We walk out. "Do they like me". He asks. "I don't know". I truthfully said.

"Yeah but you know that I wouldn't take you away from the people who adopted you". He says. "Right". I say getting in his car. "Where are we gonna go". I ask. "I was thinking we can go back to our hometown". He says.

"You mean Malibu hills". I say grinning. "Yes". He say cracking a smile. "YAY". I yell. "Shh. Some lady hushes. "Sorry". I apologize to the old lady.

"What are we waiting for lets go". I rush him. "Okay okay". He says and starts the engine. We arrive at our hometown and park at our favorite ice cream shop. "Let's visit Caroline". Kian says.

Caroline is the owner of the shop. Before mom and dad died she took care of us for awhile but we got taken away. We walk in and it still looks the same. "Caroline". I call. "Oh my goodness is that you Andrea and kian". She says shocked.

"Hi". I say running up to her and hug her. "How are you guys". She says and hugs Kian. "Great we thought we should stop at our hometown". I say smiling.

"Oh what can I get you darlings". She says. "I want the marshmallow". I say. "Oh and I will have the banana. He says. "Oh dear you don't have to pay". She tells kian. We talked for awhile.

"Well we better get going it was nice seeing you''. I say hugging her. "It was wonderful seeing you too". She says. "Bye be safe". She calls. "Ok where to". Kian says. "Oh I know where to go". I say giving him the look. "No". He says.

"Yes''. I say and drag him to the car. So basically kian used to date some girl named Rosie when he was like 8. "I don't wanna". He whines. "Fine I'll drive". I smirk. "No no no". He chases me.

"That's what I thought". I say smirking. He rolls his eyes and drives to Rosie's place. "What do you think she looks like now". I ask. "I don't know". He says. "Oh this one". I say pointing to the large house. "Let's go". I say. "I don't wanna". He whines like a 5 year old.

"C'mon she might not even live here any more". I say. He shrugs and gets out. I knock on the door. It opens to a girl. "Um is Rosie home". I ask. "I'm Rosie". She says. Wow she is gorgeous. "Its me Andrea brown". I say. "Omg how are you". She says ignoring kian.

"I'm good but do you recognize him". I say. "Kian". She says. "Yeah". He says. She runs up to him and hugs him. I just stand there awkwardly. "Well is your brother home". I ask. "Yeah". She says and let's us in. "His room is to the left". She says. I go up there. "Heyyy". I sang. "Andrea what are you doing here". Brandon says shocked.

"Well I made my brother see Rosie". I say. "Wow you sure had changed". He says. "You too any girlfriends". I ask. "Nope you". He says. "Yeah his name is Hayes". I say. "Really that's nice". He says looking down. "We should go grab lunch one day and catch up". I say. "Sure um meet me five guys". He says. "Yeah on sunday". I say. "OK well it was nice seeing you". I say hugging him.

"You too". He says. I leave and go downstairs to see Rosie and kian making out. "Looks like you guys missed each other". I say trying not to smirk. "Well it was nice seeing you kian". Rosie says. "You too rosie". He says.

We walk out and he drops me off. "Bye kian thank you so much". I say. "No problem sis see you on tomorrow". He says. I wave and go inside. I sat down on the couch watched Netflix.

"Where were you". Hayes says tickling me. "Stooop". I say laughing. "Say 'Hayes is the hottest man alive'. He says. "Nope". I say. He continues to tickle me. "OK Hayes us the hottest man alive". I yell. "I know". He says stopping.

"What are you doing tomorrow". Hayes asks. "I'm meeting up with a friend". I say dinking my water. "Really who". He says. "Kians ex girlfriends brother". I say like it was no big deal. "OK". He says looking at me weirdly.

"Did anyone make dinner". I say siting on the counter. Hayes shook his head. "Pass me the marshmallows". Hayes asks. I toss the bag to him. "Open your mouth". He commands. He throws a marshmallow in my mouth.

"My turn". I say doing the same thing. "Eww what are you guys doing". Sky says in disgust. "Aren't you supposed to be in bed". Hayes says. "Aren't you supposed to do the dishes". Sky mocks. He remains quiet.

"Nice job". I say giving her a high five. "Tuck me in". She says and drags me to her room. I tuck her in. "You're pretty. She says touching my hair. "Your prettier". I say and kiss her forehead. "Can you sing me a lullaby". She aks.

I nod and think of a song Caroline sang to me. (A/N this is from the cheetah girls 2)

Once she was asleep I kissed her forehead. "You didn't tell me you can sing". Shawn says smirking. "When did you get here". I say closing sky's door. "Awhile ago". He says. "To answer your question I sing a little". I say going downstairs.

"Hey I heard you". Hayes says. "OK and. I say. "Your voice is amazing". He says. "Thanks". I say. "What a mess". I say picking up the blankets and pillows. "Your like our mother". Nash says coming out of the kitchen. "Yeah well its not my fault I live with pigs". I say.

"Ouch". Matt says. "Goodnight guys". I say. "Night". They say in unison. I change into my PJs and drift off to sleep.
