I do not own Kuroko no Basuke, as always. Pure fan writing. Hopefully this chapter does not disappoint. I really do plan to continue writing these two no matter how many chapters I write. To my short break.
Highschool, Third years. Established Relationship.

Takao frowned at the stack of papers in front of him. Homework. Though he really disliked it, he knew there was no choice as of right now. Shintaro had been watching the other simply stare at the papers. It was somewhat of a little cycle. Midorima stared at Takao, Takao stared the papers...
"Takao."
"Yeah?"
An audible grumble. "I told you, simply looking at it won't get it done. You know exactly what you need to do, why not just finish now?"
". . . It's easier said than done that's why!" Takao puffed his cheeks and crossed his arms, similar to that of a small child throwing a fit. Not one bit ashamed of doing so, Takao looked at Midorima for a brief moment before looking back at the taunting piles of paper.
He gave up.
"Forget it Shin-Chan I'll do it tomorrow morning."
"And rush through it in class?"
. . . "Fine." Takao could have sworn he witnessed the corner of Midorima's lip lift into a smirk.
. . . .
One revolting hour later he had finally completed his assignments. Midorima seemed pleased and Takao took the opportunity of wiping that smirk off of the others face.
Doing just that, Takao surprised Midorima by pressing his lips against the other pair.
Shocked, Midorima sat with eyes wide open.
Score.
"What... Was that for?"
"To wipe that smug smirk off your face." Takao chuckled and smiled brightly. Looking at Midorima, who was still in shock, scooted closer to him. He took the moment to gaze right at the other straight in the eyes.
Complete Silence.
"Was it really that much of a surprise? It's not like it was the first time I ever kissed you!"
Regaining himself, Midorima cleared his throat and returned the concentrated gaze. Albeit rather flustered.
"I know that, but you could have at least asked.."
Takao laughed and inched his face closer to Midorima's.
He could see those once pale cheeks gain a hue of pink, and as he moved closer, the deeper the shade was. Takao found it rather silly that even after dating for a couple of years, Midorima still got flustered so easily.
They were now mere centimeters apart, neither one of them dare look away.
"Hey, Shin-Chan. . ."
Midorima gave him a look, as if asking what. Acknowledging the nickname he was given, and once hated, but was now rather fond of.
"I never noticed how beautiful your eyes are."
