Living in the Society only offers 2 choices: to live to the standard or is thrown out as an ineffiecient to take care of the jobs that keep this place running. Some are too far gone to even continue functioning and are hauled away to be destroyed.
Your position is chosen for you before you reach your 10th birthday, due to the fact that children need time to gain the knowledge needed to thrive in the''Society''. The girls are mainly chosen to be either a breeder(those who live to continue the Society's population), a Trinite(a female health official who cares for the ones of an ill state), a pure one (a house wife in simpler terms), or a mistress (one who teaches the future generation).
The men are responsible for handling the positions of true authority and power. They're what's known as a "Sovereign". Very few women make it to that level because they're incapable of handling all that is required in it. In order for a woman to make that position you have to show qualities that exceed that of a woman and mustn't waiver at any given time or be denoted to that of an inefficient. Annually, a videograph is sent through the mail,determining your fate and you only have a selected amount of time to prepare for your introductory training before you begin. Failure to comply will result in visiting the head of the Society to rectify your judgement,but few make it out scotch free.
A land outside of the Society is what's known as the Exiled. They are people who don't follow the rules of the Society and against the way the society is run and is intend on putting and end to it by any means! Only they seem to use means unfamiliar to those of the Society that works on the inside of oneself and seems to manipulate them into joining their side. Such technology is under experimentation at the moment to try and decode the secrets of it but, in the mean time the world continues to spin on it's axis and the day turns from day to night.
