Chapter 7: Hope Bracelet

*Liam's POV*

I need an excuse. Fast.

I looked over and saw Bree with her mouth wide open. Dang it Liam! You scared her!

"No! I mean,uh, I don't really know anybody else that well. I doesn't mean I want to!" I chuckled nervously. "Oh, okay." Bree says, oddly, with disappointment? Hmm.

"Okay, I think we've had enough of Truth or Dare. Lets just watch another movie!" Niall suggested. "WORLD WAR Z!" Bree yells out before anyone else could. We all gave her a questioning look. "What? A girl can't like zombie movies?" We all laughed and she eased herself off of my lap and popped the disc in the DVD player.

The lads, me, and the girls moved to the couches, leaving nowhere for Bree to sit. "Where am I going to sit?"She says with playful anger in her voice. "There's always Liam's lap!" Darla remarked and everybody else whistled and laughed, Bree's cheeks turning crimson. I scoot as far over as I can and pat the space beside me. She hops over and cuddles up into my chest, automatically sending a buzz throughout my body. I've got to control my feelings for her. I know she doesn't feel the same way.

About halfway through the movie I notice a small bracelet with 4 beads on it circling around Bree's wrist. "Bree, what's that?" I ask, indicating to the bracelet. She looks around and I notice that everyone is asleep, except Louis who is gratefully cuddling with the peacefully sleeping Lillian. "It's a hope bracelet. There are seven beads, three of which have fallen off. When they fall off it means that you will gain the object or feeling that the bead indicates. the ones that have fallen off are the knowledge," Of course, she must be the smartest person I know, "prosperity," I have no idea what that means honestly, I'll have to look it up." and the one that I just lost today was happiness, right after we met each other again." Woah, she was really happy today. "That's awesome! So what do the other ones mean?" I ask her. "This one means guarded, but its really loose so it will probably fall off soon," she says pointing to a bead which seems like its hanging on to the bracelet by a few thin strings."confidence," That one should be gone already."peace, and this last one, which I'll probably never lose, is love." She sighs before cuddling even more into my chest and falling asleep.

HEY GUYS I HAVEN'T BEEN ON FOR LIKE A MONTH IM SO SORRY I GOT BACK FROM SEEING MY DAD IN BOSTON THEN WE WENT TO NEW YORK CITY AND NIAGARA FALLS AND THAT WAS PRETTY DANG AWESOME AND THEN I GOT BRACES AND IM REALLY MAD BECAUSE I COULDN'T SEE ONE DIRECTION AND SCHOOLS STARTING IN A WEEK AND ALL I WANT TO DO IS SLEEP BUT I HAVE TO START GETTING UP EARLY BUT ITS ONE AM LOL OOPSIE WELL IM HANGING OUT WITH MY HOMEGIRL DANI FRIDAY AND ELYSIUM COMES OUT AND IM SYCHED FOR THAT MOVIE SO LOL IM NOT USING PROPER GRAMMER BUT LOL LIKE NO ONE READS THESE SO BYYYEEEEEE
