My eyes slowly opened, to the sounds of beeping machines. My vision was fuzzy, and slowly clearing up, as I squinted more at the bright light.
"Evelyn" a man's voice said. It wasn't Harry, it was more deep, than raspy.
"Mmm" I replied faintly, staring at a tall man...I think.
"Your at the hospital" he said plainly.
"WHAT?" I gasped.
"Yes, uh, well, a young boy found you , and brought you here. Do you remember the last thing that happened?" he asked. My vision slowly started to focus as I could see again. He grabbed his pen, and helled it to his clip board.
"I-I was in the woods, and I tripped" I stammered trying to keep it as small as possible. I didn't really feel like talking about it. Wait where's Harry?...
"Anything else?" he questioned.
"That's all I remember" I lied straight through my tongue.
"Your going to need glasses Evelyn" he nodded, writing something on his clip board.
I nodded and looked up at the red light that blinked above the door.
"Doctor?" a small lady poked her head through the door.
"Mmm" he replied refusing to tear his attention from his work.
"Harold Edward Styles, is here to see you" she said opening the door a bit more revealing Harry.
"I'll leave you two alone" he said closing the door behind him. Harry sighed and plopped down on the white sheeted bed next to me.
"Just one perfect date" he mumbled.
"What?" I asked, my curiosity getting the best of me.
"I just wanted one perfect date" he sighed again.
"Harry it's okay really" I really did want our dates to go as perfect as they were supposed to, but hey never were. They always had to be corrupted, by some one else.
"No Evelyn! This is to much! I don't know what to do anymore!" he cried, combing a hand through his hair.
"Harry please. Don't be this hard on yourself, it's really not your fault" I pleaded. He stood there silent, dwindling his fingers.
"What happened that day, in the woods?" he asked nervously.
"Nothing Harry, I just got a little scared, that's all." I lied, trying not to make his mood anymore worse than it already was, if that's even possible.
"You know I'd never leave you there, alone. Our let you get hurt" he sighed, playing with my fingertips.
"I know, it's just...nothing. Can we not talk about it, please?" I pleaded. I didn't want to lie to his face again. That's sick. Lying.
"Fine" he huffed.
"But remember. I'm always here. I'll always be here. I'm not going anywhere. If you need me, I'll be there for you. I'll never let anyone hurt you..." he admitted whole heartedly. I let a tear slip from my eye, it's salty core seeping into my mouth.
"Thanks for saving me that night..." I thanked him. I'm glad he didn't just go home and leave me in the woods. I would've died. I'd probably be better off dead though...causing so much trouble...
"What?...I didn't find you in the woods...I just got a call that you were here, from my cell phone" he admitted.
"Then...who did?..."
How did you like the chapter? Question to all my Butterfly Readers...Do you think Liam should come back early? Or should he come just as planned? I don't know but either way, Harry's in ALOT of trouble. What do you think. Comment and tell me. If more say "He should come back early" then he will come back early. If more say "No! He should come right one time, as planned" then he will come as planned. But a WARNING to those who pick "Liam should comeback earlier", if you pick that then the book will probably end sooner than if Liam comes right on time. I'll let you butterflies pick for me!
