Chapter 6

Garroth's POV

I set Sprinkles on the ground, and she sat next to Celeste, rubbing her head against Celeste's shoulder. They seemed to be talking with each other. Suddenly, Sprinkles tore down the street with Celeste on her heels.

"Wait! Sprinkles, come back girl! I just found you. I can't lose you again," I called after them. I raced down the street in the direction they were heading. I tried to catch up to them, but I was always ten steps behind. Oh, the agony! Sprinkles and Celeste were patiently waiting at our front door. Strange.

I opened the front door as Dante and Laurance walked up to us.

"What happened to them? Why did they suddenly take off?" Laurance asked.

"I don't know..... Maybe......" Dante trailed off, staring at Sprinkles. Everyone sat down on the couches. I went to get a glass of water and noticed that the back porch doors were slightly open and unlocked. Maybe Travis was back here after freaking out. I checked out his bedroom. The doors were closed and locked, as usual. I knocked on his door and he poked his head out.

"Is that devil gone? What is the devil doing in our house!?!?" Travis screamed and shut the door in my face. I turned around and saw Celeste on the landing of the stairs. She looked slightly confused. I burst out laughing. So Travis was really afraid, no terrified, of Celeste. Laurance joined Celeste on the landing staring at me. I was now on the ground, gasping for breath while still laughing.

"Travis..... Is really....... Scared...... Of her...." I managed to get out between laughs.

"Wait, is he actually terrified of.... Celeste?" Laurance asked. I nodded my head yes and Laurance started laughing with me. Dante came and we told him about Travis and Celeste. He ended up falling to the floor laughing. We stayed on the ground for a few minutes before we headed back upstairs. By then it was lunch time, so we made sandwiches. I gave Sprinkles and Celeste some chicken. They happily ate as we enjoyed our sandwiches.

Sprinkles started meowing and staring at the fridge. I get a bowl and filled it with milk from the fridge. Sprinkles meowed happily. I set the bowl in front of Sprinkles as Laurance started blasting the song 'My Demons' from the iHomes. I started tapping my foot along with the beat.
