It started on the ride there. We were all so excited. Someone wasn't feeling good so they put down their window. The cool wind felt amazing even though it was 10 degrees outside. It smelt very bad but it was amazing.
We made it outside of town. We knew we were all set for the competition. The girls including me had to laugh when we found out that our teacher was pregnant. It is just one of those things.
We were thirty minutes away when we heard sirens. The bus driver pulled over like he was suppose to do. He let the fire truck go by an then we were off.
Five minutes later we heard some more sirens. The bus driver was very upset on having to pull over again in five minutes but he still did.
The pregnant teacher went on a website and found out that someone was setting cars on fire. She was very scared and said we should just turn around and forget about the competition but for some reason the bus driver didn't want to. I asked her why we should go back and she said that we were heading right towards it! I was very scared and I asked her to text my mom and dad to tell them I loved them. She did no questions asked and she did the same for herself.
It was safe to say we were going to die but now. I was only nine.
We heard some more sirens but this time they were police. We thought it was because they found the people and surly enough they did. Then we saw something that resembled a bottle with cloth in it hitting the cop car then boom! The car blew up! We were right there and all you could her was tires squeaking and the smell of burned rubber. I knew we were going to die.
But then I wake up.
